My first time visiting and the prices were pretty high compared to other thrift/antique stores and not very much variety. I didn’t purchase anything, prices even higher for items you could get cheaper on eBay or other thrift stores.

If you don’t buy anything they assume you stole. It’s very uncomfortable in here because I really love this store. I try to come and check for new things often. I just left, didn’t find anything worth purchasing. Although I did look through the jewelry and almost bought a hair piece. I put it back and exited the store, and an employee came rushing out towards me in an accusatory tone, asking me if I was going to purchase the jewelry. I told her I put it back, and she asked for me to show her. She said she saw me have “a handful of jewelry” and I told her she was welcome to search my bag. I left extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable. I understand people steal but you NEED to make sure you have some sort of sure evidence before you embarrass someone like that, especially former supporters and customers.

Great store, have found many treasures there. Clothing and a whimsical collection of books, tools, collectibles, display items and more. Totally worth dropping in if you get the chance!

I’m from another state. I came to visit my son. We went in the shop and my son found a $5 item he wanted gave the lady a $20 and he got $4 and some change back. He put the money in his wallet without counting and got home and realized the lady shorted him $10. I’m sure he will never go back in there again and neither will I when I come back to visit again.

So much to find here at this store. New and used products. Looking for media? It's here along with clothes, tools, sports equipment, children's stuff (toys, clothes, games, puzzles), dishes, candles and other home decorations. It's also open 7 days a week.

Nice little store in downtown Bloomington IL. Lots of clothes in all sizes. All appear to be clean and in good shape. The usual items you would expect to find in a thrift store. Nice staff. Kids area with clothes, toys and books. A+ shop

My favorite thrift store in Bloomington! Very pleasant staff and really unique items for really reasonable prices considering the quality! A good mixture of vintage and modern pieces. I come in as often as possible :)

Found the best old US made tools still perfectly good for the tool box at a fraction of the cost found at big box. Not rare tools but hard to find excellent quality.Shop your locally owned thrift stores before cheap Chinese big box.

Staff wasn't wearing masks. A few customers were not either. I won't be shopping there again. The items in the store are overpriced and often very worn down anyways. Carle thrift store is a way better option for quality used items and actually gives back to the community. In response to the owner: you left behind the counter to help a man, and that's why I left. The counter is only a 2 ft wide, so that puts you closer to customers than you claim it does. And as for helping the homeless, I would like to know which shelters you work with to help those in need. I've never seen you back up this claim
