I’m glad to have chosen this location. When my nearby location didn’t work out for me.. I’m a VERY satisfied customer and all the staff members was very professional and kind… I would recommend Visionworks to others.. I will return again for another appointment

I went to Vision works today to have my eyeglass frames replaced. I purchased the protection plan June 5th 2023 when I purchased my glasses. When I went to the Bloomingdale store, I met with an employee Anthony. He explained that my protection plan was expired? I explained to him that my glasses were not delivered until June 18th. He said it expired one year from the day I ordered them? I questioned that because their website states 1 year from delivery. He advised me that I was wrong. He also stated that I actually did not purchase the protection plan? I had my receipt in hand showing I did! He could only offer me a new frame at a 25% discount. He also said I would have to get a new eye exam first. I declined and left the store. I returned right away after stewing in my car for a few minutes. 2nd trip in, I spoke with a manager. She confirmed that I did have replacement coverage and I was still in my warranty period. No eye exam was needed since my lenses were ok. I just needed new frames. I was very upset that the first employee was so rude, 100% wrong and uneducated on their policy. He needs to find other employment. His customer service is terrible! I'm glad I went back in and pressed the issue. Manager was very helpful, but no apology was given. I wonder how many other people have been wrongly turned away? I unfortunately, will not be using Vision works again for myself or my family. Nor will I recommend them. Zero stars! Back to Lenscrafters for me.

Dr John a Lorsch is extremely rude, the place smells horrible I can’t believe how this place is even open wait time is also awful. Unless you want to be disrespected go here.

This guy Anthony is super rude always , I visited last year I remember he was rude but I take it easy and don’t put any review, I visited this year, he is super rude he thinks like he is doing a big favor to book an appointment or find a insurance information of a customer.
However last year the doc was nice and this time I turn around and not going again coz of Anthony ill behavior , the other guy who is a teen is very nice though and patiently figuring out everything.

The exam and doctor was great. Picked up my glasses today and asked for adjustments and wa denied, told the springs in arm of the frames would move. I have dents in the sides of my head from poorly fitted glasses prior and wanted to adjust for comfort. Never not had someone adjust frames for comfort. They got my insurance money so cheers to being another revenue generator I guess. Asking for adjustments and a proper fit should be standard. This store seems a little cold for my taste.

I'll give 1 star mainly for poor customer service personnel at the Bloomingdale location, really.. very... very disappointed and I will not recommend this place for anyones eyewear needs. Looks like they are bothered every time you ask for something... even explaning everything as if they were rushing people to leave the place. In the other end... I'll give a 5 stars to Dr. Dan who really professionalism exceeded my expectations, always clear and precise in explaining all details about my wifes and myself eye exams.

Never going back here again! If I could give 0 stars I would!
1. I had to deal with a staff member named Mary complaining about calling my insurance. I felt like she was doing me a favor when this is part of her job. I’ve never had such a rude experience. She then wanted to reschedule my daughter’s appointment from Monday at 6pm to Wednesday at 5:45. I said no! Her reason is Tricare doesn’t get back in time usually with the authorization. I still declined since my daughter had been complaining of headaches. And guess what Tricare did get back to her in time but she never called me back to tell me this. I called at 5pm to ask if my daughter still had the appointment, and she did.
2. Dr. Loesch was extremely rude to my 13 year old daughter. This was her first eye exam to see if she needed glasses. He starts off saying something that he cannot see her always when she nods her head she needs to speak up. Okay yeah that’s fine. But when he scolded her for not looking into the “window” saying I know you aren’t looking at it you’re looking down at the children’s charts. My daughter looked at me confused. Maybe if he explained it as a mirror and didn’t yell at her. She got in my car after that appointment and said she doesn’t want to ever go there again and started crying. Just because it’s the end of your day and my daughter might be your last patient does not mean you have to treat her so rudely. Not coming here anymore.

Bad customer service!!!!!!!! Alex is no help. He seemed more willing to cancel my appointment then really try to verify my insurance. I had to call back 3 times back and forth when my insurance said Visionworks should have called them and it would have been one call and done. Alex said he could not call my insurance. And I heard him ask for help so people here don't know too much about processes or procedure.
