220 Madsen Dr, Bloomingdale“Great meat, lovely service! Can think of nothing bad. In addition to fresh meat and sausages, they offer a wide variety of frozen items including fish, meat stock, chicken items.”
“Amazing factory store of Polish meats, deli, and sausage. Everything at discounted factory prices. Very very fresh. On the weekend you can also get things such as condiments, fresh bread, and sweets.”
“Has all the best ethnic(Middle eastern, Asian & South Asian) foods, products, and items. Also has the best quality zabiha halal meat selection in most of Chicago. Has anything you can need from snacks, foods, drinks, frozen goods, halal meat, soaps, cleaning products, etc…..?”
“I moved to VP about 5 years ago from the northside, and I'm so happy we found this place....I'm proud to say its become our go-to. Not only does Mike's have amazing high quality meat, but they have a great deli too and the staff makes it even better. Since day 1, i'm always greeted in the kindest way - I even know some by first name basis which is always a small town dream, right?! I should've made a review a long time ago but I am now because on Saturday I bought a 5 1/2 lb corned beef brisket for St Patrick's day to make my husband, and I was really conflicted on the best method to make it since it was on the larger end (from my experience of cooking). I already procrastinated in the morning and probably should've started earlier but I decided to call up Mikes this morning for advice and wow - they really helped me. Google wasnt helping me, everyone has different methods, or recipes of which way is better and i wanted to get it just right especially since this was not a cheap cut of meat! Two gentlemen gave me advice on 2 methods, and they literally gave me all the tips and best ways to handle from their own experiences. Man, it really made me so happy to support a business like Mikes and we will always continue to do so. They really care, and always take the time to help out their customers in store and over the phone. Thank you Mikes meat market! You guys are truly a gem in VP.”
“Love getting their ham loaf! It is a staple of our family dinners each month. We look forward to the nights we have something from Wheaton Meat Company on our dinner table!”
“High quality meat, awesome individual running the place and awesome prices. You do have to purchase in bulk but if you have a family then trust me you will never shop anywhere else. I've been coming here for a very long time(close to 2 decades, yeah I'm that old!). Ali and his team have been running this place forever and its been family owned for God knows how long. I'm unsure if you need a tax i.d. to shop here but I've been coming by well before that requirement. Huge selection of high quality halal meats, but you have to order it so don't just show up. Call first! I'll be back over and over again. This Yelp page hasn't been updated in forever it seems but this place is still open, right off of cortland and route 53.”

755 Thomas Dr, Bensenville“Place is OK. 2 slot inside dock can get even tighter if the first guy goes in a little cockeyed. Works more along the lines of first come first served. Don't get there too early because they will still be loading their own trucks and you'll just be wasting your time. Guys there are easy enough to work with. If it wasn't for the tight inside dock they would get 5 stars.”
“I understand that a majority of your customers speak Spanish,English is my second language also ,however your customers dont need to speak English but your employees NEED to! Numerous times that I have tried to purchase food at your hot bar its always the thing you cant ask anyone anything because of the language issues, recently they just serve the person before you and the person after you! They see a big Gringo they skip you! Then I complain and finally they find someone that can barely barely understand you!”
“I have ordered several times online to family in other states. My last order, there was a problem with the delivery company. No fault of Omaha. The customer service rep (Jordan) made me so happy. He reshipped the order to my parents with no hassle. I will continue to order from them again and again. With older family out of state, it is nice to know that I can send them quality meat with ease. Thank you, Omaha Steaks! You kept your promise with 100% customer satisfaction. You have a customer for life!”
“My dad ran cen-mil mkt in Jeff Park for 30 years in the Polish neighborhood. Ashland smoked sausage is the best I have ever tasted. They use premium ingredients.—Butcher Boy.”
“Give Kyle a raise! Within two sentences he both read my mind and guided me to the cuts in my price range and flavor profile. His service somehow exceeds the quality of the steaks. I will be back because of his service, no doubt!”
“Local bodega. Fresh produce, good butcher shop, you can do money orders or cash your check here. They sell hot food, good tacos, tortas and burritos. All made in house.”
“Stopped in earlier today and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. Definitely enjoyed my shopping experience. Ramadan Mubarak to the entire staff!”
“I shop here somewhat frequently. The store at this location seems to be run well. Clean, well lit, the floors are always well maintained, the aisles wide without displays all over, making it hard to shop. All the departments are well merchandised, especially since they did a reset about a year ago, shelves are always well stocked and faced. The produce department looks fantastic and has improved drastically in freshness and appearance since then.Meat and deli departments do a good job, I like that meat dept. changes up the end caps on a weekly basis. Service meat looks nice, but I think they're missing the boat as far as what could be offered in the case.My one complaint, and this done at the corporate level, is their ad. The layout is great, but I question the running of certain items on almost a weekly basis, skirt steak as a front page featured item almost weekly is waste of valuable space, it loses impact with such frequency. This week is their anniversary ad, a week or two when stores traditionally run their hottest prices of the year.Suppliers and the warehouses are usually willing to work with stores for special anniversary pricing, the featured front page items don't reflect that.Grd Chuck $3.99? Butera has it the same price, it's not even their anniversary. EZ peel 26/30 Raw Shrimp $5.99, Fresh Thyme had them 3.99 w/coupon 3 weeks ago. Bnls Breast at 1.99 is not super hot. T-bones are not choice, why run select grade or less for this ad? They should of made a good buy on CAB strips, loins, or ribeyes and ran those instead.”
“Opens around 5:45ish. Delivery.Park on the street ( Nicholas) facing north before RR XX. Check in by dock. I pulled up to driveway across the dock and backed her in . GET OFF AND CHECK SIDE CLEARANCE FOR DOORS before backing all the to dock. Take your time and you’ll do fine. Pretty quick for a full load.”
“Love that they're meat here is very fresh, for being the first time shopping for me here and trying it out Definitely going back for my meats, very fresh, tender and juicy once your dish is done.”
“So I went to Jasper Meats on Saturday for a special #6? But we didn't realize you have to pre order for sure looking forward to going back to complete our purchase.update as of 9/14/23 - we did get the package deal (pre order is needed) and it looks so good, I cannot wait to taste it out but trying to divest the fridge of leftovers at the moment. Well packed, in a box about 24" wide, 6" thick and about 18" in depth, it will travel well. frozen-ish, sauce too. I put the sauce in the fridge to soft thaw.Everything is vacuum sealed so if kept frozen or in the fridge it should last a good while. By my dads clock, at least 10-15 years LOL.Steaks look nice and marbled. Pork roast and ribs and I think chicken (memory) all look very good, I cannot wait.We also picked up a package or two of Canadian Bacon which I intend to grill up, possibly this morning, hungry. Not sure I will slice it up or grill it as a piece....thinking a piece and then cut up into chunks-ish size. leaning heavily on the grill the whole thing side. Maybe a snack this morning with some toasty bread......mmmmm beer could be a good addition, in the afternoon hours.”
