We needed a tube replaced in a bike tire. Brought it here and the guy acted like he knew what he was doing. He tried putting a racing tire in a standard comfort bike and then realized it was too small. At this point, he told us they didn't have any tubes in stock that would fit this bike. We went over to the bike tubes section and found the right fit and installed it ourselves in the parking lot. Go to Spokes if you're looking for a bike repair in the Wheaton area

Typical sporting goods store. I went there for weightlifting gloves. My suggestion is to go elsewhere. The selection was horrible, and the entire area where the gloves were being displayed was in shambles.

If I could give them a zero I would because they definitely do not deserve 1 star.The managers are clueless on products they sell and do not honor their price match. I went to this location to buy the Al Rihla Pro ball. I drove over 20 miles to this location from Chicago because they had the product I was looking for in stock. I called beforehand to have the balls set aside, they told me they would price match from the Adidas site.So I get there and cashier looks at the price from Adidas and says she doesn’t feel “comfortable” doing the price match so she calls over what I assume was the store manager (I really hope it wasn’t because it was very poor customer service). The person then taking over the transaction looks the item up herself on the Adidas page, takes her time which is fine, she’s doing her job. Then the nonsense begins.FIRST, she says it wasn’t the same ball from the Adidas ball, which is surprising given that she’s looking at the same image I was. There is only one kind of this product so it’s almost impossible to mix up unless you’re not familiar with the product so I’ll just have to go with that.SECOND, an associate buds in and says Adidas wouldn’t even let them price match it that low. (Mind you, Adidas has it marked down themselves so that doesn’t make any sense since the product is going away soon).THIRD, the person in charge then says “oh well the item is not in stock on Adidas so I cannot price match it” WHAAAAT? ?IF IT WAS IN STOCK ON ADIDAS, WHY WOULD I BOTHER DRIVING 20+ miles TO BUY IT???! It makes sense if the product is retired but it wasn’t retired. At this point it felt like they were coming up with any excuse to not sell me the item because of the discount. I left very disappointed. LUCKILY, I found the item at a different location and they price matched it NO FUSS, NO NONSENSE from anyone there.

The only thing worse for you than not exercising at all is buying exercise equipment from this Dick's then dealing with the stress of having it arrive broken and their useless third party vendor being willing to do anything helpful about it. A less stressful means of losing a few thousand dollars would be to flush it down the toilet.

I spent $2,000 on a treadmill. It was delivered yesterday. It worked for about 5 minutes after the delivery guy left, and broke down.I purchased the extended warranty and the repair guy can't get here until next week.I will edit this review after we see the repair guy.Update: The repairman came yesterday and after checking some things out, it was determined that the treadmill must be returned.Dick's promised that a new treadmill will be sent and the other will be removed. They promised to send a different model treadmill. I will edit this again when it gets here.Update number two: new treadmill is here.The walking belt is on too tight and needs to be adjusted. Waiting on another repair guy ..... I swear to God, I should just have put on my coat and went for a walk outside! One positive mention: they sent us a more expensive treadmill for the same price as the other one.Update number 3Now the repair guy is pushing back our appointment day and time. So still, no working treadmill.Update number 4: the repair guy just left. He looked over the treadmill and said he can't fix it, it must be returned!At which point my wife called Dick's and asked for a FULL refund! What did I learn from this nightmare?Nobody NEEDS a treadmill. Put on your coat, grab an umbrella and go outside!Thanks for nothing Dick's!Negative 5 star rating.
