“Let me give you a small breakdown of this place. Conveniently tucked away off the beaten path but very accessible. I was searching around for a reputable body shop as everyone knows, it's better to have one and not need it, than to need it and not have one.I called around for a few places but the caveats were, timing and quality, not to mention price. Usually you can only get two of the latter with the other being sacrificed. I found First Performance through a Google Search and I'll admit, at first I wasn't sure since I haven't heard of this place and I've been around the automotive world for well over a decade. However, I wanted to give them a call. First time I called, Ms. Slim picked up and she was extremely friendly and informative, asked me to drop the car off on an upcoming Friday just to get what I wanted done examined. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it that day so the following Monday I called again and someone else picked up the phone and told me to stop by after 9:00 AM. Let me preface and tell you this was the week of Thanksgiving, so imagine the backlog on this.I showed up promptly at 9:15 AM, walked in and was greeted by two gentlemen, I wasn't sure of the other guy's name but the one who I spoke with his name is Jerry. Jerry in facts runs the place along with Ms. Slim and he came outside and listened to what I was asking for and his professionalism, engaging personality and knowledge really put me at ease knowing that my vehicle would be in good hands.Not to mention, this car was fairly new to me, and it wasn't meant to be out on the roads in colder weather just due to performance summer tires. Regardless, he was able to squeeze me in within an hour or so, and I was patiently waiting at that point.The following day, I received a call from Jerry directly indicating my car was finished. I know he mentioned it would be "likely" done prior to Thanksgiving, however I was very understanding with the holidays that anything could come up, and I didn't expect a business to drop all their work just to work on my car. I doubt they did, but know Jerry and his team did help me out with this.I showed up later that evening, saw Ms. Slim, Jerry and their team and was presented my car. Literally perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better turnaround, overall experience and price to match it all. The paint, which is very difficult to match (tri coat metallic pearl), was done flawlessly.The end results, speak for themselves. I will be referring any and all to this shop as they've earned my business tenfold. Thank you Jerry, Ms. Slim and FPAB team!”

“Great service! They came recommended by my Audi dealership (they are Audi certified). I brought in my 2023 Audi Q7 which some little kids used as a chalkboard and drew on the passenger side door and front fender with a rock. Scratches cut to the primer, so I was not expecting a buff job will work, but they did their best and got most of them out. Still debating if I should get the door painted - they gave me a reasonable quote, I think.”

I initially thought I needed a costly hybrid battery replacement, but Mike’s honesty and expertise saved me thousands of dollars. Proper Body Werks team took on the challenge and solved my problems timely and within estimated budget.Their advice was practical and helpful.My 2015 Lexus RX 350 had a lot of hood rock chips and skols from highway debris. We, after all, have two seasons in metro Chicago: winter and construction. Both are not friendly to our car exteriors.My work was performed promptly.Front bumper had too much micro damage and it was suggested it was faster and less expensive to replace with OEM and paint to match. Hood was stripped, repaired and repainted to match. Color code Lexus Pearl White/Starfire Pearl (077) is a challenging color to match.Touch Up paint provided was a thoughtful touch.
