I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had when purchasing glasses at the America's Best franchise store located in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Firstly, upon arriving at the store, I noticed a significant delay in being attended to. I waited over 20 minutes for service, even though there were few customers in the store. Additionally, the staff appeared disorganized and, at times, uninterested in helping.
After finally being attended to and presenting the necessary documents, I was directed to have an eye exam with the ophthalmologist. Upon returning, I was surprised when the store employee informed me that she could not find my name listed as a dependent on my husband's medical plan. I returned with my husband the next day, and we had to instruct the staff on how to locate my name on the list of beneficiaries.
The most frustrating aspect was the delivery of the product. I purchased a product, and twice (after 30 days) they gave me the wrong glasses. The first time, they gave me sunglasses. I requested a correction, which took another two weeks, and even worse, it wasn’t resolved. They gave me glasses with the axis completely wrong. Now, after 30 days, I have requested the cancellation of everything and a refund of the money I paid in addition to my benefit. Today, when I tried to get service at another store, I was informed that I could not be served because America's Best still hasn't refunded my benefit, and I must wait another 30 days...
In summary, my experience was extremely negative, and I am disappointed with the level of service provided. I expected more professionalism and efficiency from a store with your reputation.
I do not recommend this store or franchise to anyone. The staff is uncommitted and unqualified to work in this field.

Pero las tres señoras en el mostrador del frente necesitan aprender atención al cliente o cambiar de trabajo. Nunca me había sentido tan despreciado en un lugar. Sin duda la peor experiencia. Let me start with saying I am a fan of America's Best overall, I have went to several of their stores throughout the years and was always happy with Service and Pricing. Went into the Bloomingdale store looking for Frames for my sons Prescription, was greated with kindness and asked if we needed any help. I told them we are looking for frames that my son likes, they said look around and let us know if you need any help. We started looking and my son found a pair he really liked. We asked for help and had a wonderful experience, Dawn the G.M. helped us, she was amazing, she was so nice and helpful. She helped guide use through the lens selection process helping keep our spend down and even applied a discount we qualified for that I didn't know about. We only wanted one pair as my son could find one he liked, she explained we had 30 day to use the discount for the second pair and recommend going online to see if he could find something else he liked. This America's Best under Dawn's leadership was a terrific experience, I highly recommend this place, we walked out very happy, even my 14 year old son commented to me as we walked back to the car how nice they were.

We're seniors and typically complain about customer service. Our Bloomingdale store gets 100% top score for friendly and knowledgeable from management to caring employees.

Phylicia Brooks is very helpful on answering questions and giving her undivided attention when helping customers. She helped me find some frames that matched my face and style :)

The old lady at front disk she was tirrible i drove from schumberg all the way to this location and this lady she dosent even want to talk to me no i pass sorry

It is the worst place I have ever visited, a horrible experience and you pay for it. Ladies who work the front counter this is a message to you: if you don't like your job serving customers it's simple, just change jobs, but stop ruining people's day.

I was in a pinch (Screw fell out of my glasses) and ran in to this America's Best right at closing and I was serviced with a smile. Taaha and Natalie (Nat) were AMAZING!! They took their time and fixed my glasses. Would recommend any day. Very great experience.
