Cultural market with plenty of staples to explore from food, spices, and necessities. The staff is friendly, customers are not too welcoming.

I love this store, and the sales help the pricing to be in line with other nearby grocery stores. The pharmacy is not appropriately staffed for the volume of prescriptions they fill so give your refills extra time.

I LOVE Ambica in Bloomingdale! I have been shopping there for years, and they are so kind and patient. The staff always recognizes me and takes the time to answer all of my questions as I explore amazing new foods and spices. Their prices are very fair and their products are fresh. I have shopped other Indian markets but Ambica is my go-to because they treat me so well and have such great prices and variety. If you are looking for any Indian staples you will be happily surprised what Ambica has in store for you!

Very well organized store for Indian Grocery. I would highly recommend for fresh Indian Snacks from buckets, just the way they make in India taste. Exceptional customer service and very welcoming place.Highly recommend anyone to try Fafda, Jalebi and Fulwadi and would love it..

Folks.. Don’t buy any homemade snacks that they sell in store ( Like gathiya, Papdi) without tasting in store. They have sold very poor quality snacks to us. We have bought star gathiya without tasting in store and it was awful, salty and very hard( not consumable). We told them that we are taking this to other state.. that might be the reason why they have pushed bad product to us.. who knows. This is the second time we had bad experience with them on same snacks..The reason why I have to leave review. We often shop with them every time we visit chicago and often we fell like they do on purpose( selling broken left over papdi snack even they are charging full price). Overall they do sell other decent grocery.

No better service , staff members really bad to the customers , price is so high, whoever at the register they are telling to the customers that price is high don’t get the stuff. Whenever customers is inside the store. The guy who is big face who runs back and cut the lights off. Which is not considerable. So i am gonna tell you the please choose to another store and give the businesses to them not this lazy non workoholic person . Thanks you so much.
