“A few weeks ago I called to get Ameretto, our 14.5 yr old min pin in to see Dr. Formea and was told he’s on an unexpected leave of absence and to say prayers for him. We did see Dr. Maag and he was good with her and helped me make the decision to do pain management. I asked Dr. Maag to please let Dr. Formea know about her and he said he would. I had to make a tough decision to let her go and when I made the call to the office and asked if Dr. Formea could do this for me, he was still out so we had Dr. Maag assist us with her passing. The experience this time was different as we didn’t see Dr. Maag until he gave her the last shot where when I had this tough decision a few years back, Dr. Formea was there with me making sure both myself and Jack (my chihuahua)were ok. I want to thank Will and Linesse (I’m sure I spelled this wrong) for their compassion and hugs during this difficult time and I only hope that Dr. Formea and Lorie see my post and that you both know that Ameretto was given the best care by both of you and your staff over the years. The pictures are of her and Bailey having their last breakfast together and the one by herself was the last time she laid in my office while I worked. May God answer my prayers and watch over Dr. Formea and his staff in this difficult time and I do hope to see him back in the clinic soon.”
“ARK and Dr. Sarah Smith are amazing. They are extremely caring and compassionate with my pet. Dr. Smith listens and addresses all my personal concerns and is very reassuring. I am extremely pleased with the care I receive.”
“Excellent care for our dogs, covering every aspect of pet health. From Greer & Pavel to Zuzu & Theia, EPH has kept our girls safe and healthy for decades.”
“My 14 year old black lab needed an in home visit to put her to rest. I called his practice and left a message. Even though they were closed for the weekend Dr. Mike gave me a call back and took care of her with respect, grace, and professionalism. You can tell how much he cares about the health and well-being of an animal. Very affordable as well. I'll be taking any future animals of mine to him for care.”
“Had a great experience taking my dog here a couple weeks ago. All of the staff were so kind, and the vet was very knowledgeable on options available to treat our aging dog to help her quality of life. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”

2 Glen Ed Professional Park, Glen Carbon“Found a kitten dumped in Edwardsville. Dr. Olsen was amazing. He was neutered last week. He healed so fast and everyone did an outstanding job. Beedle is now enjoying some well deserved TV time. Very, very affordable. They get you what you need and don't try to nickel and dime you. If you want fast, affordable, down to earth vet care, this is where you need to be. I mean, look at this pic. Come on.”
“People I dealt with for the comprehensive for our dog Harlee were kind and explained every step of what they were doing. The Doctor detailed good signs and thankfully the one that was borderline. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Petco for your Fur Babies to everyone!”

3300 E Broadway, Alton“I switched over here bc I was told they cared more about the pet and weren't money hungry like Banfield. My referral person was right. I'd rate the 5 stars if they were more prepared to the visit though. I spent weeks gathering records, and they were supposed to look at it prior to the visit. This didn't happen, but they were accommodating with keeping my lil one out of a cage during a drop off I wasn't comfortable with.”

5 Cougar Dr, Glen Carbon“I used this emergency room 6 or 7 times over the last few years. I have always been grateful and impressed that I can have my pups looked at on an emergent basis 24/7. I read some of the other comments about this place "being expensive". I wonder what they are comparing? We have never been there at a regular hour. So yes, there are staffing costs. I understand the emergency room initial cost. Again, overhead. This week, one of our littles had an eyeball issue. The overnight surgical staff took care of her and a few hours later I received a call from the surgeon at 4 am giving me an update that everything was fine. Expensive? I thought the surgical fees were reasonable. I think people don't realize the cost of routine pet care in general. Everything is expensive. But relative to the care provided at this hospital, no it isn't expensive.”

5 Cougar Dr, Glen Carbon“I want to take a moment to thank the incredible staff for saving my dogs life and taking such good care of him. We brought our Pomeranian in on Friday evening after noticing a large amount of blood in his stool. Dr. Breashears saw him Friday evening, ran some tests, gave him some meds and he seemed to be ok. Saturday morning he took a turn for the worse and back to emergency we went. Dr. Breashears admitted him for further testing. They didn’t know at this point what was wrong with him, only that he was going downhill and quickly. Dr. Wierhrdt took over for the weekend and it turns out he has IMHA. Basically his body was attacking his red blood cells. It didn’t look good for our little 9lb ball of sweetness but God and Dr. Wiehrdt managed to get our little guy back on track after a blood transfusion and various meds.
The staff was so patient with my calls for updates and even invited me up to visit him. I never once felt as if he wasn’t in good hands and knew everyone was working on trying to get him healthy again. Thank you all from the staff at the front, to the vet techs, to the doctors, to everyone that took care of my little guy. He wasn’t an easy case and I am forever grateful I get more days with him. You all are angels on earth and I am forever thankful for your service.
With love,
Peanuts family.”
“Works very well with my animals to make them comfortable and making it as easy as possible. Especially with them being kind of difficult with public spaces and peope, I will always recommend”
