Highly disappointed. Ordered canning jars from the website and had them shipped to the Bethalto store. Confirmation email stated I would receive an EMAIL when my products arrived up to 7 days later. Email also stated estimated arrival to store date as April 23rd. Today (April 28th) emailed the sales email listed on the site since I still haven’t received any notice that the jars had arrived to the store. Got an email back stating they had called me to tell me the jars had arrived, LAST THURSDAY (April 22nd). Really? I looked at my missed calls (some of us have jobs where we can’t answer our phones at work) and I noticed a 377 number. Okay, you called (assuming the 377 number was you) but didn’t leave a voicemail? Is there a reason behind that? I don’t call back missed unknown numbers, so had I not emailed sales today, I wouldn’t have ever known my jars were available to pick up. If you don’t enjoy knowing when you can pick up your items then this is the online shopping experience you crave!!!If you do enjoy actually getting your products and receiving them within a timely manner. Go to Ace. They’re kinder and more customer service focused!

Horror story! Had to buy some concrete blocks for a shed. They didn't have any at Alton so I drove over here. But they close at 12 PM on a Saturday so I knew it might be a close call. So I call before I get there and tell the guy I plan to buy the blocks but will get there at noon. He tells me "then you'd better hurry because we close at 12." I pulled in to the store right at 11:59, ran up to the door and it was locked. Same guy comes out the back and closes the gate. "We're closed!" He tells me to go to Ace Hardware for the blocks instead... are you serious?! What kind of business closes shop a minute early on a SATURDAY and tells the customer to go to a competitor?! So rude, if you don't want my business then I will go elsewhere!

Don't bother calling to see if they have something. I called and they told me they had an item and went there and they didn't have it.

I was surprised at the prices. I always assumed they would be a lot more expensive to the DIY crowd but it was reasonable. Great service too!
