Bethalto Family Vision did a slipshod job on my eye exam, giving me a prescription that actually made my vision worse, plus they tried to funnel me to an eye surgeon for cataract surgery. Suspicious, I had another eye exam at a different optometrist's office. The second opinion told me my cataracts were mild and didn't require surgical intervention. Also, the second optometrist gave me a totally different prescription from what Bethalto Family Vision did. The office personnel at Bethalto Family Vision were friendly and polite, though.

I went here first in May after getting facewash in my eye and being unable to open it (corneal abrasion). The staff was very nice and prompt at getting me seen and treated! I recently took my 9 yo daughter. I was in a zoom class at the time, the staff completely understood and they talked to my daughter with so much respect (I try to allow them to have autonomy with their healthcare). It was an over all a great experience.

I want to give a shout out to Bethalto Family Vision Care and Dr. Lynley Atwood for being so nice and thorough when I went for my eye exam and purchase of my glasses. I had to switch from single vision to progressive lenses. The office staff was very helpful and caring. If anyone is in need of an eye doctor, please give Dr. Atwood a call.

Wonderful new Dr.at Bethalto Family Vision Center.Dr.Lynley Atwood has taken over the practice of Dr.Ellison who is retiring.She is very nice and kind and gentle.I will be going back every year for my eye exam.DrAtwood likes cats too which made me happy.

Great service after 3 different appointments due to my new insurance getting things fixed. I will be happier when I get my glasses after I lost mine due to a fire.

Great and friendly staff. I have been going here for over 20 years and I have recommended them to anyone seeking a local eye doctor. Dr. Ellison, Dr. Atwood, Tammy, and the rest of the staff are wonderful and excellent at what they do.

Staff is extremely helpful. Super clean environment. They are taking every precaution to protect clients against the virus by limiting patients, taking temp at door, wearing mask and cleaning all areas. Mark Ellison your the best I never feel rushed and you aways answer any questions I have.
