I never usually leave reviews but the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. Made an appointment online for the morning and waited over 25-30 minutes for the office to open . No one showed up for my scheduled appointment and I called them shortly after in the day to reschedule. I’ve been going here for over 3 years so I decided to give them another opportunity. The worker on the phone assured me either her or her colleague would be there for my next scheduled appointment and when I showed up at the agreed time they weren’t there again. I waited 5-10 minutes until I decided to leave and go to ATAX down the street. Please be careful when booking appointments on here.

After looking around for Tax services we came across Liberty Tax! Flor was incredibly informative and patient! She answered every question we had and was very professional. We will continue to come back for sure! Thank you Flor!

Flor was AMAZING! I’ve never had anyone take care of my tax needs like she has. She was so thorough & considerate during the whole process. I had my three young children’s and we all felt welcomed. I’ll be coming back annually to see her. If you want someone on your side during tax season go see Flor!

Arif, at Liberty Tax has been my accountant for 10+ years. I always recommended him to friends because customer service was top notch and we loved working with him. Last year something changed. It took forever to get my taxes done and he was impossible to reach. This year I planned to use someone else but he apologized and pleaded with me for the chance to redeem himself. Sadly, I gave him that chance, due to our long history. It is now October, my taxes are not done, and all I have received is a text or two stating that he's sorry but cant get anyone to work for him and he has fallen so far behind. I made calls to the owner, Nuffisa and still zero reply. I've made a complaint with the corporate office and hope for some resolution. I'm now getting letters from the IRS indicating that there are issues with my tax prep from previous years with Liberty Tax Berwyn and I cannot reach anyone from that office. It is a total nightmare that I would not wish on anyone. Avoid it.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I would never recommend anyone to this Liberty Tax. They are highly unprofessional and non-responsive. I asked to have a copy of my 1040 forms emailed to me 4 different times and still failed to send them over. The only reason I had asked is because I realized that they never gave me my complete return forms with the calculations, only the amount I would receive back. I questioned it because my returns were very low compared to what I have received in the past at another liberty tax (Which is much better, by the way.) If you file your taxes here, you better ask how much they are charging you. If you don't they'll easily try to take $1000 from you. I had to ask them to lower it! By far the most expensive. I don't know why they are still in business. I have been with Liberty tax for years in Franklin Park and they were always great! I only went to the Berwyn location because I moved and it was closer. BIG MISTAKE. Now, they cannot access my tax returns and have to call corporate ?

I have been coming here and getting my taxes done for the last 12 years or so, but as time went on the customer service has gotten terrible. No response for weeks when trying to find out what happened to my tax refund. They said 3 weeks or 21 days. Well, I filed.on March 7, 2021 and still have NOTHING. Tried to contact the gentleman who did my taxes since March 24, 2021 and STILL NO RESPONSE. It's a really sad thing though, they used to do such a great job.

They charge too much to do your taxes! They are not professional at all. They charged me $499 and she didn’t even tell me she was going to take it out of my refund check!! I’ve gone to many places to get my taxes made and they never charged me that much. The lady was nice, but the company is just bad. I was never told how much I was going to get charged, I was never told they were going to take it out automatically. She made me sign so many times (which is normal) but she never told me what I was signing for. I didn’t know I was charged until I was the one that asked. It was just a bad experience.
