“Massive shout out to the folks at Fair Game. I stopped in on a visit from out of town and ended up having a wonderful, appropriately nerdy conversation with the two fellows working there at the time. Based on their recommendation, I bought the Arkham Horror card game and had it shipped back home. To be honest, I was skeptical of this game because I did not enjoy other Arkham Horror games, but I bought it anyway because I wanted to support the store. It turned out to be one of our favorite games.
It is such a pleasure to get to talk to people who know games and can make thoughtful recommendations based on a single conversation. If I lived in the state, this would be my go-to game store. If you live near La Grange, stop in, have a conversation, buy a game, and maybe go back for game night. You will be happy you did!”
“The coolest stop we made on our short trip to Chicago this time! An absolute MUST visit for anyone who loves horror.
Moses is an absolute gem human and we stayed in the shop for an hour just chatting with him. We spent money, and got some amazing stuff, but the experience we had conversing with him was the best part of our time in the city. More people should be like him in life! Horror movie knowledge and just genuine cool knowledge too.

I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”

“My husband and i sort of wandered in (i didn't think it was open since you can't tell from the street) but we got buzzed in and WOW was it worth it, an amazing collection, some of which my husband recognized from his childhood with plenty of toys and models with all sorts of themes. “Where to start with Magic Inc. One word, GREAT!!!I love magic, but it's hard and expensive and takes skills, right. Well, yeah. (full disclosure, I am a beginner with magic, and this is the second magic store I have been to, for what it is worth...)But, if you are in Chicago and want to dip your toes into this skill, magic, you have to go to Magic Inc. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular just to hang out and learn from the staff and clients.Even if you just want to go to an incredibly awesome store, head to Magic Inc. No intimidation here what so ever!Friendly and professional staff that just happen to be magicians! Wow.Just walk in, say you want to learn a little about magic, and you will see some amazing things that you just might walk out with. I went in for two decks of cards and left with a great 'how to' book and two other tricks that I, a beginning magician, could do (at least my great neices think so...)Thanks, Pedro, for making my visit incredible! “Incredible shop, something for every level collector. You will not leave empty handed. The clerk it knowledgeable and willing to advise if needed. If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”

“Honestly, pretty good place for collectors. Very very wide selection of Marvel, DC, DBZ, Transformers, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Owner is a real nice guy who you can tell loves his job. Only problem is the prices can get real high sometimes for some reason. Though you can usually get a pretty good deal from the owner.”
“Great place in a historic building full of charm. Definitely a must visit for those who are serious about model railroading.. the shelves are stocked to the top with kits that are difficult to find elsewhere and the deals are some of the best I've seen in the hobby.”
“Joe, the owner of LC&S is a very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Have made several small but important coin purchases there over the past 6 or 7 years. Recently Joe helped me with the sale of some Sterling Silver Flatware. He explained the process involved in determining the flatware's value and suggested that I visit several shops to get quotes and then to take the best one. When all was said and done Joe was able to make a more than fair offer and I sold to him. I always have trusted him and feel comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. I feel working with him is always a win - win situation.”

“An employee named Jeffrey helped me out ENORMOUSLY. I had a horrible experience with the GameStop at Riverside mall where they essentially refused to refund an insurance they pushed me to buy for my switch 2 (which I did not want). Jeffrey at Hodgkins helped me out quickly and easily and did not guilt trip me for canceling my insurance I was forced to pre-order a month ago. Actually an incredible guy, will only be going to this GameStop going forward. ?? Jeffrey needs a raise and recognition, actually the goat of GameStop. Thanks to him I will be coming in much more often.”

Also, they will help you to find the things you need. They are so accommodating. You can also check out so easily because they have many cashiers. Awesome service. This Michaels is very accessible, their location is very near and easy to find. You can go to their spot in just a few minutes from your area. Very convenient. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because their restrooms need some repair. But their place is still my preferred place to buy things for crafts and others. They are way better and cheaper than other stores around the place. Plus, this Michaels is also a great place to buy some decorations for Christmas and other special holidays. You can also order online and visit their website. They will bring your order to you quickly. Really wonderful spot! All of their items have really good quality. A really must-visit place for arts and crafts. I will definitely go back here again when I am nearby and I need some crafts again. Thank you for your awesome service guys! They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.”
