“It was our first time in the store today and the staff was very helpful, patient, offered samples for treats that were being packaged at that time that we had never tried before. It was our first time there but it won't be our last!”

717 Lake St, Oak Park“I had so much fun collaborating with the owner Patrick on a sour candy challenge for our block party. Kids and adults loved it, and I appreciated the creativity and attention to detail that seems built into the customer experience. 10/10 would recommend. Here’s to more fun!!!”
“This place has everything!! Manager was super helpful in finding what I was looking for. Best spot for bulk candy. I bought 15 pairs of pants and 4 jackets lol I legit love this spot”
“Great customer service!! Large variety of different chamoy candy. Everything is delicious top favorite are the gushers. Once you start you can’t stop. Have been a customer since he first started his business!”
“My father started going here at least 30 years ago for peanuts for the squirrels. Before he died he made me promise I would continue. My family has had this building since 1922. So now I go here for squirrel food too. They specially order the peanuts in the shell with no salt for me. For the squirrels you say??? Yes! When they couldn’t get the nuts during the pandemic, I ordered from Amazon. Easier? Sure. But I got food moths galore!!!”

4704 N Damen Ave, Chicago“This is my favorite candy shop in Chicago for myself and my kids! The staff is very nice to my kids and they are always offering up new fun items. My favorite is the chocolate and peanut butter graham cracker truffles.”
“OMG!!! This place is amazing, excellent service, clean facility, they just made a Wall-e piñata for my son and we loved it, every detail, very professional, iam very thankful. This place is incredible, excellent service, very clean and organized, I asked them to make a Wall-e piñata, we really loved it for the second year in a row, very professional, I thank them very much, thank you very much, I give them up to 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This was a nice little candy shop. Parking can be confusing but make sure you read the signs. I just parked a couple mins away on one of the side streets, where it said free parking for 4 hrs. Just to be on the safe side. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a good selection of the bark candy including the popular lemon bark and English toffee. Don’t forget you can also sample them before picking one. I sampled the dark chocolate mole and roasted almond sea salt bark. Both of the barks weren’t too sweet. I recommend coming here either when they open or early afternoon, traffic could suck especially if you take the tollways. Prices are reasonable for the high quality ingredients.-Dark chocolate mole 5 - if you smell it before eating, you can catch a whiff of the pasilla peppers that went into these. Not spicy at all but you do get a very mild, subtle after taste. Good blend of spices. I recommend getting a sample.-Coffee crunch 5 - I’m not a coffee person but this was delicious. Toffee and white chocolate had a creamier taste than the other two.-Mini cookie crumble 5 - can’t go wrong with mini. It’s like eating. Nice prominent mint smell and flavor combined with that nice crunchy taste.”
“Aunt Diana's Old Fashioned Fudge (Riverside)
Date of Visit: October 2, 2024
Today, I stopped by Aunt Diana's Old Fashioned Fudge on Riverside, and it was an absolute treat! This small, nostalgic shop is a hidden gem for anyone who loves classic, old-fashioned candies. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of sweets, and the charming décor immediately takes you back to simpler times.
The selection of candies is impressive, offering everything from rich, creamy fudge to freshly made caramel apples, which are a must-try. The caramel was perfectly smooth and buttery, coating crisp, juicy apples that were absolutely delicious. It’s clear that everything is made with care and attention to quality, bringing back that authentic, homemade taste.
What really made my visit special were the two lovely ladies behind the counter. They were not only knowledgeable about the products but also incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Their genuine warmth and enthusiasm for what they do added a personal touch to the experience that you don’t often find anymore.
Whether you're looking to satisfy a craving for sweets or just want to experience a slice of nostalgia, Aunt Diana's is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be returning for more of their amazing treats and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!”

9500 Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge“Brand new candy store just opened up. Mainly Hispanic candy. I tried a free sample by the lady out in front so I visited the store and checked out all the candy they had. I love all the variety they have though most of it is stuff that I find familiar. It's finally great we have a candy store for the first time in a while at the mall.”
“Nice store, good service, organized, clean and convenient. Treats are good too. They have a good sugar free selection as well for those who must have sugar free. In the stockyards right off of Pershing. Great little break stop for those who work in the stock yard. I recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some sweets.”

6113 W 26th St, Cicero“What a wonderful place! I was searching the Chicagoland area for "custom piñata's" for my 6 year old son's "skyscraper" themed birthday party. I didn't think I'd find a custom John Hancock Center pinata, but lo and behold, the amazing folks at Pinatas & More came through and did an AMAZING job creating a custom piñata of a John Hancock Center replica. It was well made, reasonably priced, and was ready when they said it would be. What a great store/service!”

6351 W 95th St, Oak Lawn“My first time going to this location, after it being stationed at this address for years was back on April 15, 2023. The person serving candy on this day was lady by the name of Max. She was nice, hospitable and just a consummate professional. Because the second time I came to this location (ALMOST A WEEK LATER) the same person Max was there to service candy to the customers on this day. I usually visit the location downtown (NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE) because it is bigger store with more of a variety but if I am ever in need for chocolate in the future this will probably be my go to location seeing is most locations are starting to close, again makes me filled with SADNESS!!”

A variety of piñatas and "Mexican" candy to fill them. Wooden utensils and large ollas (pots). I will mostlikely return again and again, the owner is helpful & friendly too.”
“My too go place for chocolates. I love to bag myself the flavors I like and in the amount I need.
The store is filled with candy boxes, candy bags all very beautiful and some with themes like birthday weddings, graduations new babies. That set this outlet apart. Those ladies behind the counter will steer you right if you are planning a big party or a celebration.
They have forgotten more about chocolate than I have ever known.”

It's a good place to get a gift for a chocolate lover. If you are in need of a great experience and a good chocolate this store is the place for you to go.”
“Loved the new Maple flavor!
Parking: It's horrible after they open and even worse later in the day, but it was Labor day when we went.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, however the elevators weren't working on one side of the building making it impossible to get down to lower levels unless you went to the opposite side of the building like we had to.”

1921 W 47th St, Chicago“The store had a variety of Mexican candy, piñatas, games and more! Customer service was awesome! Thanks Chelly for helping with party ideas! I hope to return soon!”
“Sahagian Candy is a confections manufacturer and not a retail store. They manufacture bubblegum, licorice, taffy, caramel corn, sweets, sours and gummies. The major brands are the Yard of Bubblegum and Licorice. They do private label brands and specialty runs for occasions and events! They don't sell direct to consumer, but they do sell to everyone from party planners, gift basket and floral companies, grocery stores to big box stores and major department store chains! If you want to make something really special with candy... it's worth a call to see if they can do it for you!”
“I love the smells here ! I was Greeted with a smile and a welcome by a lady named Pauline, I believed. Thank you for all your help & the recommendations in the store and in Chicago.”
“By far my favorite candy shop in the area— anywhere really!. Always so nice & helpful. The chocolate is so delicious! Their choc covered strawberries & bananas (usually special order at the Indian Head Park store) are amazing! Can’t say enough nice things about Old Fashioned candies! Their Berwyn store has more offerings but if you want something they’ll bring it over, if you ask.”

They have so many options and we have found ourselves eating nutstop for all our snacks! They have so many options. My kids love the chamoy rings and the watermelon slice gummies. We have also been snacking on the healthy nut mix and moms favorite the milk chocolate Almonds. They have great prices and the quantity is alot! Definitely recommend.”
“Big daddy’s is by far the best fudge I’ve ever tasted. My favorite is the chocolate jack. Melt in your mouth creaminess, with the warmth of the whiskey. I give it as gifts and that’s the one everyone wants. Delivers every time!!!”
