Was very busy and hard to get help but after being there an hour with my kids I finally got help and was able to Purchase the slotcar I wanted/needed to race with my friend I'll definitely be back. They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.

I stopped by today for the first time in a decade and I had a blast with two young folks with autism who delight in all things train-themed, especially Thomas the Tank Engine! There is a very cool interactive model train in the center of the store, and then aisles of items related to trains- including art supplies, craft kids, books... and then also Legos and my favorite brand, Schleich! Fabulous Bruder trucks, too. I didn't interact with the staff, but they were present and busy helping all the customers. I also met several other train enthusiasts who were happy to share their love to Thomas the Tank Engine with my group and that was so special to me! Free street parking. McDonalds is right across the street so we stopped for milkshakes after the train store and it was the perfect afternoon!!

Great place for 0, S and HO Scale train options. They also have nice toy trucks and cars in their small but well curated selection of toys. My good to store to more classic toys. If you are looking for model paint they also have a nice assortment of classic Testors as well air brush paints.

These people are so decent and kind. We have bought and sold items. They are very fair.Larry and his associates run a delightful store. Great stuff. They let kids hangout and enjoy the trains running around.Wonderful business.

I've lived in Chicago for over 40 years and never knew this place existed. Wish I would've known of it when I was a kid. Seen it on my way to work and took my kids there. I'll be coming back soon and getting some kits.
