I went to Autozone because my car was having issues starting. When I arrived, they couldn't check if it was the battery because it was completely dead. So, it needed to be charged first to see if it needed a new battery or if there was another car part causing the problem. I asked a guy who works there for help, and he said he couldn't assist me in taking out the battery due to his boss's policies.I told him I could remove it myself. When I needed a tool, Sayd offered his help and stayed with me for over an hour assisting. Despite the constant flow of people coming in and out of the store, Sayd was super patient with me and not only assisted me in removing the battery but also helped me find every part I needed.This experience marked the first time someone from Autozone has provided me with such excellent service. Kudos to Sayd for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

The manager on duty would not perform a battery test on my car, saying they were "trying to close up." It was 40 minutes before closing time (7:20PM on a Monday). I was prepared to purchase a new battery pending the results of the test. Instead I left, borrowed my partner's car for a day because I couldn't trust my battery, and returned the following evening. This time, I was told by the same manager that he could perform the test. He told me to pop my hood. I waited out in the cold for ten minutes and then came back in. He was in the middle of doing something not related to me or my battery test.Service only improved once a different employee (I believe his name was Sayd) was asked by that manager to do the test. He tested my battery, showed me the result, gave me his recommendation, and I bought a new battery. He installed it for free. My car has some ware and tear and I could tell that getting the old battery out was a sticky job. He got it done, in the cold. If In could give Sayd his own rating, it would be 5/5. It is not my experience that his attitude is representative of other employees at that location.

It is -9 in Chicago today and I needed a new battery in order to make sure I can safely get around and help my family during an emergency. Victor was willing to help me with the install despite the freezing temps. He did it with a smile and a “no problem”! I am incredibly grateful for his professionalism and help.Also, this is the ONLY auto zone I have visited who would not accept a tip from me because it is their policy. Every other one has accepted them from me which to me shows it’s a group of quality employees. Thanks guys!

Nice quiet Sunday morning in the hood. The technician.Edwin (photo) and I had the store to ourselves. This polite gent took the time to do a diagnostic scan and give me advice on several things. This was quite a pleasant visit, especially since I didn't buy anything and the place is often a madhouse.

Online inventory does not match reality. "Too bad" attitude from employees. Avoid if you need specific parts, useless.

Stop by to get my left headlight changed I was told it was in a tight spot. But the employees on 5-19-23 got the job done. They were awesome polite and efficient. This will definitely be my new Auto Zone. I live in Cicero I have a Auto Zone near me but I read the reviews and came to this one. Thanks y’all greatly appreciated.

I went to get a headlight bulb for a 2014 equinox. I would usually do it myself,but since I'm recovering from a broken wrist I asked an employee if he could change it. He asked if he needed tools. I told him yes unfortunately. He denied to do because it was to hard! All I'm saying is if you guys claim to change light bulbs do all,if not, do not do any at all.
