It’s been a year since my mom passed. I can’t thank enough the staff at ADDUs for all their effort getting the proper person to care for my mom. Bridget Ocha played a huge roll , she followed making sure my mom was cared for well. She is amazing. Thank you again for making easy and being caring .

Supervisor moves workers schedules , without talk first with the customer’s needs, according with their own need instead of the customerAnd tell them to do only “ light” job, as to sanitized a WC where only take a peace of paper Once in a while. And cook when they do not know how to do it etc ,only ask if you take the medicine . Garbage , floors, dust MAY be touch once in a while , Vanesa’ s instructions, not even push a place where a seat ; and the social worker says that I Yelled to them , unbelievable ,

Stay away from this company. If your love ones need help, don’t come here. Bad Customer service stars on the office and rolls down.

I honestly feel that giving this company one star is giving them too much credit. They are extremely unprofessional and very unorganized. Not only did Megan and Tamyra Tillman both lie about trying to contact me but they were not helpful at all on trying to resolve any issues with me getting managed care for my loved one when we needed them the most. They gravely lack empathy and dropped the ball when it came to helping me get the help for my loved one. Tamyra didn't reply to emails, respond to Voice-mails or return calls. In fact, she placed me on hold for 90 minutes at the end of her workday then completely ignored my emails when I tried to follow up with her. I feel as though they took our personal information for nothing and I would never refer their services to anyone. This has been a horrible experience. They are clearly overwhelmed with their workload and aren't able to provide proper effort to assist their clients.

Addus is a caregiving agency for disabled elderly people or other disabled people. As someone who went through their hiring process- One person is in charge of new hires and all of the paperwork. Understaffed, over booked and always hiring. Never go here to get a job. The 1 lady in charge of new hires is sloppy, slow and brain-addled. It took 3 weeks of sending, resending and resending the same paperwork via email to this lady because she keeps misplacing it? Not checking her spam folder? I have no idea. I went in for "orientation" and she handed me someone else's new hire paperwork to sign. She couldn't be bothered to read the name on the file? Then they send you to Oak Brook for fingerprinting. The lady who works there is sloppy, too. My fingerprints were rejected because she rushed through the process. I finally called after 3 weeks of waiting for Addus to get their stuff together and was like, "I am withdrawing my application". Two weeks later, the manager calls and asks if I'm ready to get a client. I told her that I told the other lady that I withdrew my application. She didn't even bother to tell the main manager that she lost an employee?! Also, if you don't have a car, you'll be put on a waiting list for clients. Total trash agency. Also, I was told during the self-led online training that they will call your client randomly and randomly visit your client's home. Also, if they are sick or there is a change in your client medically, they demand that you call them and tell them immediately. Have these people ever heard of HIPAA laws? Your first call is to your doctor or an ambulance- not to Addus!! They are NOT licensed medical professionals!! Don't do it!! As someone with an inside look to this place, I suggest you run away fast and go somewhere else! Super trashy, completely incompetent and you wonder why the workers are lazy and don't care? Because their employers don't care!

The workers here are personable and they really love people. I guess you have to truly care about people to successful at this.
