Hours: JTA Foods is a convenient store for a small town and a great little, niche grocery store with some neat surprises. The store is over-all pretty nice, with everything always organized and easy to find. It is a small business and family-owned store. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and more than welcome to help you find items. The business is also noted as the best little grocery store restaurant around. It is highly recommended to grab something from the Grill here, as the grill-to-order food is amazing and always good and made quickly. Specific items like the burgers are amazing, the Jimmy pork burgers are awesome, and the Ribeye sandwich has been called the best ever. They also offer tater kegs, a fully loaded tater tot, described as delicious. The ice cream is pretty good, with various flavors of soft serve available in large containers to take home, though it is primarily available in the summer months. For groceries, the meat case is always full with a good selection of fresh cuts. They have a good selection of their own brand of spices, including some handmade seasonings that are fantastic. Prices on groceries are comparable to larger chains, though prices can be a little high on certain items, which is understandable for a small business. Customers recommend checking dates on certain foods, as sometimes they spoil fast or the use-by dates can be a little close to time. Overall, it is really convenient when you need something you forgot to pick up someplace else.
