Very rude associates in the pharmacy! Picking up a prescription should not be inquisition!

I love Walgreens. In general I'm a huge fan of the chain and frequent them often. However, a few months of interactions with the pharmacy staff at this store have me transferring my prescriptions. They just. Don't. Care. And it shows! In ALL the ways. Wrong info, refusal to refill (refills left), bizarre and unhelpful staff interactions.Need to know if something is in stock at another Walgreens because they're out? They won't tell you. They'll tell you to call the other store and also that they close in an hour so there probably isn't time. I happen to know their system tells them this info but they seem to want to inconvenience their customers / victims. I called Walmart instead. I had such a nice relationship with my last efficient, kind and helpful pharmacist. I'll move my prescriptions elsewhere and find a Walgreens in Rockford to shop at.

Just listen to the reviews. I’m new to the area and boy, did I take my Walgreens in Oswego IL for granted. This is the WORST pharmacy, unhelpful and literally hang up on me when they can’t figure something out. It’s a joke. I refilled my prescriptions in Oswego lol. Just call you’ll see. Management should really get better staff or maybe the problem is management.

I am a 70 year old customer who has Covid and scheduled a PCR test today at Walgreens in Belvidere. I waited at the window for 15 minutes when an employee told me i would have to move away from the window because it was the first day of new Medicare regs and she could not get an answer as to whether the test was covered. She invited me to hang around the parking lot on a 90 degree day and try again later. I have cigna Medicare. I am 70 and Walgreens refused to give me a covered PCR test so i could see my grandchildren on the 4Th of July. I departed to CVS and got an immediate test. Shame on Walgreens!

Customer service at the pharmacy is below par! The Pharmacist has a bad attitude and it rubs off on the staff. Maybe the Pharmacist should pick a different job that does not involve interface with customers or running a staff.

The Belvidere Walgreens never has medication in stock. They tell you they will have it in the next day and then they don't. There are 5 or 6 people behind the pharmacy counter but no one is waiting on the customers waiting in line. Not even A I'll be with you in a moment.

The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with! Wish they'd plow the parking lot better. Someone's gonna fall and sue them out of business-might be a blessing!

Horrible pharmacy! Avoid at all costs! Takes days for them to fill a prescription that they have in stock. The staff is incompetent and rude. They couldn't care less. How do they stay in business with such crappy service? Even the pharmacists themselves are incompetent. It is like this store is just for the pharmacy school flunkies. I drive out of my way to pick up scripts to avoid this joke of a business.

Ok. Last night around 4 am, my wife got back from the emergency room with my daughter. Because it was an emergency room, I had to take the prescription in to be filled later that morning. I arrived at Walgreens Belvidere. I explained my daughter had been vomiting, and needed this prescription to be able to eat. I am as told "sorry, we have 200 to fill, won't be till sometime late tomorrow" As some of the previous posters have said, this place lacks compassion, and the employees really don't care. In any case, I drove to Shopko, and they filled it in 20 minutes. The Pharmacist there was awesome! Not sure what has happened to Walgreens, but the last few times we have had terrible service. Maybe they need to hire more staff. In any case, Shopko now has my business.

I wouldn't give them a star if I didn't have to in order to tell everyone how horrid this place is. Wait 25 minutes in drive thru to be told at least 20 more minutes. Get 5 minutes away and get a call my antibiotic is ready. Come back and there are 7 cars in line. I have 100 degree fever and sick infant. Come inside and there are 9 people in line. Way to suck Walgreens! If there was another drive thru option I would take it even if I had to pay double!!!
