“So I almost drove past my last destination prior to getting home. Thank goodness I saw the store front, lol. Pull up, walk in and greeted immediately. This is a good sign. I got great service before when looking for the top line Red Wing Work Boot and this is shaping to be another well timed experience. Saw an advertisement for buy two and gain another free for not maintenence supplies.....among other things. So I get to the front register and explain. Two professionals are ready to help. One with shoulder length, in style cut, hair with a splash of green. It is St. Patty's Day.... just missing"Doug and Porkchop." No laughs yet....well guess you had to be there.??? The other long curly hair, hat and great tats. Still learning the trade, yet made me feel welcome. I got the explanation of the offer, the order for care products, asked what boot I purchased to customize said product and examples of what they do with theirs. I weighed and decided. Got timetables on how long before an order I can expect it to be in. Along with a card for contact so things can be streamline......all is correct with the world. My tiny little moment in time is awesome due to these individuals. I pull out my card, use tap.....it fails! Embarrassing?‍?.....yet it worked when using the chip so no big deal?. I have the item number for both colors and a connection is forged. “For months I have been looking for classic red Vans and every place only has the burgundy Vans. I went to Journeys and was talking with the employees about this and I was just about to break down and buy the burgundy Vans. As I was trying them on one of the employees turned his monitor around and asked if these are what I'm looking for and they were and also on sale. He told me they would be shipped directly to my house. I ordered them on Saturday 01/21/17 and received them on Wednesday. These 2 employees went above and beyond and are stars!!”

“This morning I visited another retailer prior to going to Finish Line. They didn't greet me, and the whole time I was looking at the selection, no employee was visible. I decided to take a drive out to Finish Line, and I'm super glad I did. Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by Max and welcomed. He proceeded to help me with several sets of shoes, and we had a nice conversation. He was very patient, kind, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. I was previously in marketing for a major corporation, and I know how hard it is to get and keep good employees. Max is a winner, and I hope his company has great plans for him. Great job, Max!!”
