Everything went better than we expected, no complaints. The service was great, sales person was friendly, cordial, and answered all of our questions. I would recommend my friends to come to Kunes.

⭐️ Paul in the service department went the extra mile to make sure all the needs of my vehicle were met! Furthermore; I needed a ride to work as my car was getting serviced & ⭐️ Larry the morning chauffeur was a pleasant service with a smile as he got me to my destination.

Set up an oil change via phone, I was worried about a wait time.... and was told to just come in. Was in and out as fast as they said it would be done. Cannot complain there!!

Run, they lie and deceive you into coming in no matter how far Away you live!I applied at some car credit thing online. Next thing I know Kunes is texting me. I told them flat out no I have low credit and a repo on my history, all dealerships have turned me down.Next thing 2 managers, managers not regular sales staff but actually managers!Called me, I told them the same thing as in my texts. Noooo we will and can get you a vehicle, I'm like you sure before I waste time and gas from Freeport il to Belvidere il?Yup come on in etc. Waste 3 plus hours and probably $20 $30 in gas, oooooooo sorry we can't help you we lied.You ran my social security number, you saw my credit score and problems, I demanded you not waste my time. Why what did you gain a good laugh. Negative 5 stars

While looking for a car, people told me NOT to go to Kunes, so what did I do? Go to Kunes. I wish I would had listened better. I love my Jeep. Is it over priced? Absolutely. The one thing that bothers me the most is that they weren't up front about the price. I saw the online price, so I just assumed that's the price I got. My dealer told me that it was a little bit more than online (why would you post a price online that you aren't keeping in store beats me)- however everything is included such as tire and rim service, etc. They told me a monthly price and I just went with it- especially because I was in desperate need of a car and my credit was good. I didn't actually find out the complete price until I started making monthly payments. Outrageous. And then I started noticing marks on the car- which, I'll admit- we should had looked over the car at purchasing, but since we were both first time car buyers from a dealership, I looked past it. Do I love my Jeep? Absolutely. They gave us a free first oil change, and I'll admit I love the service they provide. Skip to several months later, our car was in an accident. I took it to get repaired (back axel damage- which the guys at Kunes- shout out- noticed, however when I take it into the shop, suddenly I have front axle damage too. This is just crazy to me, mostly because the front was never damaged. But now looking at the dent when we initially purchased, I'm wondering if they didn't disclose other information to us. Like i said- I love my Jeep and I love the service. Everyone is very nice. Will I rethink purchasing another car here? Absolutely.

So happy with the help and care of James and Kunes GMC in Belvidere. James could not be more pleasant or well mannered. And everyone seems to work together to make things happen. Thanks to them, I found a beautiful vehicle that hit all the check marks!

I purchased a GMC Arcadia from this dealer. I explained what my family needed and trusted them to be honest. They showed me the vehicle and how it had just came in from supposedly 1 owner. Test drove it and it appeared to be fine. After I purchased it and put it on the highway the problems began. After 55mph it started to shake and when winter hit electrical problems and the transmission started slipping whenever I had to stop uphill. I would have to roll backwards until it flat enough to catch. Embarrassing! Wanted charge a large amount of money to fix it or wanted several thousand more to exchange for only Yah knows what! Now I am in even more debt. Thanks for helping me establish credit! worse than before.

If I ever purchase a car from another dealer, I will be sure to have a mechanic I trust thoroughly examine it. The 2017 Jeep Compass we purchased has been a big problem, expensive to fix (again and again) and has really turned us off to dealers.

I purchased a vehicle there on June 18th. within 2 days, i reported to the salesman, the issues with the vehicle. by the time I got an appointment on August 3, It cost me $165.00 to diagnosis everything I said was wrong with it and they want to charge me over $1,100.00 to fix the issues.. DON'T BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OVER.

Bought a performance vehicle from then, the whole experience was bad. Drove the car for maybe 100miles and it lost power. Motor is bad and I'm pretty sure it was sold to me that way. Dealt with them for over a month for them to tell me I'm on my own. They did nothing to help.

I won't buy anything from kunes ever again! They sold me a lemon! I paid $30,000 for what they told was a good used truck. I kept up with routine maintenance regularly. One year later the motor is junk and has to be completely rebuilt! I wouldn't buy a bicycle from them! 0 stars from me!

Don't come to this dealer, recently bought a truck from them haven't even made my first payment and I'm having all these problems with the truck and they're trying to charge me all this money to fix the problems. Don't come here take your money elsewhere
