“Five stars. Went here to pick up a Christmas gift. The store has a good selection of women's clothing, accessories like jewelry and purses, baby gifts, and decor. When checking out, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer a free gift wrapping (at least, during the holidays). The present came wrapped up in a nice box, complete with tissue paper, a fabric red ribbon, and a decorative ornament on top. Great local business!”

“Cheap, and fast(same day work) with great quality work. To restitch, water proof and clean my work boots was $20. And I’m a sprink… if you know then you know how dirty my boots get(black water). Bring this place all your shoes I think new or old they can make any foot wear problems go away. I will be back!!”

“Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”

“I went here on 02/10, I was looking at the guardian angel website and noticed this business was listed as a seller. I was also seeking reflective clothing at the same time. They're advertised as the largest selection of reflective clothing in Chicago so I decided to take the nearly 2 hour drive from Freeport and let me tell you, I was not disappointed and sure didn't leave empty handed. Needless to say I feel a lot safer getting out there doing my job, towing & recovery. I would highly recommend this business for all your reflective and safety gear needs. “I was sold shoes by a shoe salesman. As I looked for a pair of loafers to replace my current J&M discontinued model I was approached by Ron the salesman- manager of the Oak Brook location. I showed him a shoe I was considering. He asked me several questions of what activity I was going to be doing in these shoes. I was taken back a bit.
I’m not new to buying shoes. He seemed sincere and really wanted to know.
He explained how shoe construction for someone with my build- 6’2” 235 LB would find comfort in certain shoes builds- all loafers which I wanted to buy.
We had a conversation about several topics while I made my decision. Ron could sell ice in Alaska. We talked about everything from shoes to the white Sox to to Don Rickels to his 6 grand children. Not sure how he has 6 grand children as he looks about 50 but claims he’s 61. I tried on 6 pairs of shoes. I purchased 2 pairs. Who said customer service is a lost art?
