Applied for a home to rent. Then the place was removed and put for a higher rent price twice. I talked to a woman about a refund on my application since the wrong information was put on their website TWICE. And haven’t received my refund for the applications nor any response when I call. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM DO NOT APPLY HERE. LOSS out on $140 for nothing.

Maintenance and Management has taken a drastic decline. My ac unit has been short termed fixed twice within 3 weeks; it's out again. To add insult, it's taken 2-7 days for Strano to get a tech out to look at it.

I had an appt scheduled to view a townhome at noon. By 12:15 no one had showed up except the other person who was also scheduled to view. I received a confirmation text the morning of. I tried contacting their office and was transferred to someone who was supposed to provide me with additional information about what was going on and I was transferred to dead air. I tried calling back after listening to dead air for 5 min and no one answered. I left a voicemail and still didn’t receive a call back. This showed me how my time not business was valued. This was all i needed for me to know I shouldn’t rent from them as they probably provide the same type of service when you call with an issue with one of their places.

Horrible process at the end of the lease!! They charge for the whole house repainting and wear and tear prior to selling the house but have the tenant pay for it at the end of the lease. Would definitely not recommend.

WOW!!!I am very surprised! I have had my home in Belleville, IL managed by Strano since 2013. I have been happy about all the issues that have come up over the years. This is 2023! Yes, there have been minor issues that I was a little upset with but, not to the extent that I have just read on this forum. I guess as an owner there is a bit of difference in perspective. I will be moving back to Belleville in the next 9 months and hopefully my home will be move in ready when I get there. WOW !!! I am totally surprised! I have had only 2 families in my house in the last ten years. The first left the year lease early and paid for it. The second family has been in my home for almost 10 years. I believe he has been a "Mr. Fix It" so minor stuff he took care of. I guess I have been lucky. I just do not know!

We live next door to a property rented out by Strano. Previous tenant moved out in February and I had to call the court house to get someone to cut the 3 ft plus tall grass. Now the siding is falling off and there are bags of yard waste still sitting outside my kitchen window. If this is how they take care of property I sure wouldn’t rent or have them represent my property. It makes the neighborhood look awful

As a home owner, I would advise against letting these guys manage your property. They do not care or communicate. They have kept my property empty for 4 straight months with out a tenant and have not returned my emails or calls in a timely manner. Avoid at all costs.

Do not like them they did not give me my deposit back, making it seem as though I left trash everywhere and I didn't leave any trash there. When they were called, they acted as if I didn't deserve my deposit back, so rather than sue, I can do stuff like this and give them a bad review. And if the house has fleas, they are not going to do anything to help you, but tell you that it is your responsibility to get rid of them. Then, if anything goes wrong, such as any maintenance issues, if it is not over 100 dollars, you are responsible. If you can't find anybody else, make them your very last resort.

I rented from them for ober 7 yrs. They have a great team. They provide maintenance quickly although once (in 7 years), they charged me the $50 copay for maintenance that wasn't done properly, which was a look see, and refused to take it off my bill. Hence the 4 stars. I was trying to help the owner pay for shoddy work. Their ability to do maintenance and repairs is dependent on the owners though. So it might be a good question to ask before renting a particular property how the owners are with upkeep.
