Such nice folks, very knowledgeable & helpful. I went in thinking I needed a new heater core and found out my heater was clogged with dog hair (imagine that, with three australian shepherds). Their service was very fast!

Excellent automotive service and communication. I was comfortable with the first conversation over the phone. This was my first experience with the shop. They were up front with me as much has they could with the repairs and what was going to happen. They called me with the estimate and explanation. Then sent a quote over via text. The quote had pictures and the breakdown of expenses for the estimate. I really appreciated that so much. My repair was pricey in general, but I feel it was a good price for all what was done. I will be going back.Make sure you look at the address. I went to the wrong Schaefer place. (Pictures on Google had me confused!) They were great as well!Thanks for making me feel comfortable!

I emailed into their shop 2/23/23 about an issue I'd been having with my radio not working properly(cutting in and out), to try to see if they could check it over and get me an idea on what was causing the problem(had already talked to two other mechanics but was just speculations on the route issue since neither had time to do a proper diagnosis on it). I got a call right away the following day from Brian, saying without looking there's not a way to know, but we set up a time the following Tuesday(2/28) for me to drop it off and them to start chasing down the issue. Took it up there bright and early after they opened, Brian was right at the front and took the keys, said they'd get on poking throughout the electrical system to see where the issue was(already told him it wasn't likely a fuse since all tested good and I'd already preliminarily changed all the fuses that could have been connected to the radio). Got a call later that day saying they found the issue and that the radio was in fact dying(as one other mechanic told me just over hearing what the problem was). Went to pick it up that day as I needed it for my job, and we went over my options on what I could do. Brian went above and beyond to help me out to get this fixed so I'd have music on the upcoming 3k mile move I have. Got the part, took it back the following Tuesday(3/7), they got it put in within a few hours, had a few small hiccups, but Brian still went above and beyond to help me get it working fully once more.Brian's honesty with me and letting me muddle over my options before fully committing to the work I'd have to get done was really appreciated, most places I've dealt with want an answer right then and there without letting you think things over if you want them to do the work. Despite being obviously busy with customers he let me know in detail all the options I could do, but also gave me all the draw backs that could come from each choice, including the price breakdown and cost for each thing that would be done. Explaining each to me in an easy way to understand(I'm good with the mechanical things on cars, having grown up with them and around shops all my childhood into early adulthood, but the newer electrical stuff still flies over my head sometimes), and didn't make me feel bad for asking 101 different questions about it. He's incredibly honest and seems like a great guy to do constant business with, he doesn't sugar coat it and gives it to you with what's the best choice, but doesn't force you into it.I would honestly recommend them to anyone I know who needs more done than they can handle themselves. The shops waiting area is immaculately clean, has a keurig in case you have to wait instead of just drop and come back later and want some coffee, a little fridge with some waters, a tv, and some very cushioned chairs. 100% will be back to them if I'm in town visiting family in the future and need anything taken care of. These guys are wonderful! I have been going to them for years and they always fix the problem the first time. They are very kind and helpful easy to work with. Explain what’s happened to my vehicle and what they are going to do to fix it.literally showed me pictures so I could understand it. They get you in for service In a timely manner. And they warranty their work.

My mom worked with a Mr.Brian J Simmons and and kept giving her false diagnosis, because of this she has to come out of more money taking it to a more honest shop. Honestly I feel he already knew what the problem was but decided to take advantage of her. Wouldn’t recommend working with him or even going to this place. Horrible experience for us.

Very efficient, helpful, and reasonably priced! We had an acute issue come up with the motor for one of the back windows and Schaefer got us in quickly and provided a lot of helpful information just during the initial phone call. A month ago we had my car towed to Schaefer’s from another auto shop. They fixed what the other shop could not. Schaefer’s figured out what was wrong in a day it wasn’t what the other auto shop claimed it was. They’re very honest and knowledgeable.
