I was not the one who worked with this vendor, but I was the person who the event was thrown for.To start, the venue should only be advertised to hold 30-35 people at most. Our event had roughly 45, and it was hot and stuffy in the room the entire time. The event was a baby shower, and with our guest tables, we could barely move around the room, the cake table was not large enough to execute the cake vision, AND we did not have a gift table.Once again, I did not work directly with the owner of this venue, but it was relayed to me that in the original conversations they had discussions about what would be included in the decor for roughly $1900. I will say we ended up getting a $300 discount because someone brought it to her attention, not because it was offered; so it was roughly $1600... A few weeks before the event, a second invoice asking for more money (roughly $440) was presented. This invoice stated it was for "specialty small items." I am not buying it, because the original invoice stated those same items were included. Since it was the last minute, and invitations were already sent out, we had to pay the difference. This venue also stated they had a caterer. They said we would be pleased with the caterer because "she only works with people who do great work." The catering left MUCH to be desired! First, they charge us $1000 for the catering; so I am expecting this to be great; It was not great. The presentation was poor, as the food was in foil serving tins. The idea was to have a "creole breakfast" menu. They used Eggo waffles for chicken and waffles, the spinach salad looked like they dumped a few bags of spinach and cut up some berries, the grits for the shrimp and grits were hard and cold. There were not enough serving utensils to grab the meats; we had people who were allergic to fish, so you can't mix serving utensils like that. There were no spoons for the syrup, and the thing that really got me was, she made the eggs on a hot plate she brought with her in the back storage room! The back rooms were a complete messy disaster, so I did not want to eat food that was prepared in that type of environment. Also, I'm not for certain, but it was reported by one of my guests that her husband came out and made a plate. I will say the fried fish was good, the shrimp from the shrimp and grits had good flavor, and the fruit cup presentation was spot on.The decorations were done nicely. I did think the balloon arch was fabulous, even if a cluster of balloons fell off and hit me in the head. The throne chair was a beautiful touch, and the small touches to match the theme of the event were nice. My main issue with the decor was that the table clothes were wrinkled.All-in-all I would not recommend this space, or caterer, but I would recommend for the decorating in a different venue. I think it was overpriced for what was received; however, We had an amazing event despite all of the issues we encountered,

5 stars isn’t enough of a rating for this business. From the first contact and throughout the whole process, the owner was very professional and accommodating. Venue was beautiful, clean and spacious to accommodate my event. I am grateful to have stumbled upon Imperious Celebrations & Decor. Definitely will be booking again in the future!!!

If I could give this business a 100 out of 100 I would!!!!! Her venue is beautiful!! She was very accommodating to us and kind, also PROFESSIONAL and VERY RESPONSIVE!! Also don’t let the size of the space trick you because she turned this room in to a full banquet for my mother’s 60th birthday party!!! We enjoyed ourselves and we are so grateful!!! We will be renting again in the future!!!!

This event venue was really nice. The staff was exceptional and very professional. The prices are great. This venue offers full packages where you can just show up for your event and the decorations were beyond my expectations. This is a cute, new venue, affordable, and well worth the money spent.

I got my appointment mixed up and went a week early (right a whole week). Cedric was my scheduled barber and he was confused too. We laughed it off and he cut me anyway. He didn't have to do that for me but he did, so I have a new barber named Cedric.
