Based on the good reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. When I pulled up to the express car wash on S. Illinois a red headed guy with a beard came out. He wasn't friendly at all and sarcastic. The wash was just "OK". The young man wiping down the cars when they came out, was friendlier but didn't do a very good job. To the owner(s) of this place, you may want to send in a few ringers once in a while just to make sure your staff is doing a good job.

This place is a scam they put way to much soap in that you can't get it off the risqué. I have tried just the rince and it is soapy too. Do not go here it's 2$ wash now but by time your done it's 5$ all day long just trying to get the soap off your vehicle. They know what their doing what a scam. Shame on the owner.

Vacuums we’re horrible with almost no suction and one had the hose fall off the machine and the timer for washing is not long enough

Rude and could care less about job or customer service AT ALL. If you dislike your job that much, find another, now hiring signs EVERYWHERE. AUTO SPA will get my service 100% of the time as everyone else should pass this place up as well.

I really like this place! I purchased their highest monthly package since I work at a salt factory. Talk about a bad place for your vehicle! They also have a chassis wash that I obviously need and take advantage of. I don't know why they don't have a better rating on this site when they're quite liked on most others.

Go to spot for a clean car! Good pre-soak, and scrub. They do a great job of drying after the wash. I’m always super happy w/this business!

The staff is usually helpful and it's nice they towel dry. It's an old location though. Lots of loose gravel around back. If you do the self wash I've had occasion when a piece of equipment didn't work right and I'm not sure any wax has ever come out. The monthly membership is cheap and a good deal but their hours weren't working for my schedule and sometimes they close to heat to let employees go home. It was frustrating to show up during normal hours to find they had closed. I'll still go occasionally for the touch up but not like I used to.

Been going here for years Ii have a 2022 truck the bed had very little dirt guy said he will wash this time but but next time I need to clean bed I thought he was joking because it hardly anything at all canceling my monthly plan today for me and wife and going somewhere elseService: Auto detailing

When you pull in off the street, all of the self-serve bays you pull straight through. However, the employee wash bay you are supposed to enter from the other side, which I found out the hard way. It simply says "open" in a neon light - no exit or entrance sign. I pulled up and opened my door to take magnets off of my car before I pulled through. Some big redneck type with a scraggly red beard started screaming at me telling me, "No, no, you got to move right now! Like I need you to go now!" Being from out of town, but having lived in the area over 20 years ago, I'm not familiar with this car wash, but definitely has many friends that are. I will not be recommending such rudeness and poor customer service to anyone. Perhaps proper signage would prevent you from any insurance claims, especially when the logical thing is for all days to face the same way.
