Love, love, LOVE Cato's! Prices are GREAT and they move inventory to clearance regularly. Employees are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate the smaller type of store, so that it's not overwhelming to look at what they have.

I’m being generous because I enjoy the prices and some of the selection… the customer service was *terrible.*. No greeting, no help, no words other than “you all good? K… we’re closing in 10 minutes” 20 minutes before close. AirPods in one of the workers ears and both of them monotone and tooooootally ecstatic to be there…. No wonder I never see anyone in here anymore. It’s really unfortunate.

I used to love shopping here.. but lately I have been in here and the selection and customer service is HORRIBLE!! I mean greeting is out the window and asking if you need help or found everything ok is gone! Not to mention that instead of doing these things that should be normal they were talking amongst each other looking directly at me. One finally left and jumped right in her phone. Guess you get the service that matches the price you pay for... really unfortunate since this was my go to and has been for about three years!

Compared to the Mt. Vernon location, the plus size clothes are limited to 4 sizes, with minimal selection. I rarely leave without making a purchase when I go to Cato’s, but I walked out empty handed. At least the store was clean. ??♀️
