DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO *******!I dropped my truck off 27 days ago for an exhaust repair. ******* was inconsistent about responding to messages or phone calls. Inconsistent means he would not respond for a week! He was not there during business hours twice with his shop closed. The neighbor mechanic said he hadn't seen him in 4 days. I told him I was going to the police station to do a wellness check because I needed my truck back, and he wouldn't respond to messages or calls. Remarkably, his phone started working again when I got to the police station. He wouldn't come to his shop during business hours, and instead he messaged me after 8pm that my keys were on my visor. I had to walk 2 miles in the dark because it was too late to ask friends to give me a ride.He requested $400 to order a special part and said it would take a week. I used ****** for protection because it didn't feel right. It was a straightforward exhaust repair. I've never had a mechanic ask to prepay. It's been 24 days since then. I requested a refund, and he never responded to my text, call or email. I made a claim on ****** and after a week he responded that he's still waiting on the part?! I took my truck to ******* yesterday, and they did the repair in 2 hours. ******* couldn't do the job in the week that he stated, having my truck for several weeks, and now it's almost a month later, which was already ridiculous for this job. His communication is atrocious, and his reply if he does reply is that he's still waiting on the part?! I hope ****** can refund me so I can use that to pay ******* (they took 2 hours to get it done!?)DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO *******!
