It is a lovely place. You can see all the animals up close and pet them. Staff and owner are wonderful they deeply care for animals and are willing to share all the stories about them.

About Settler’s Pond
We’re Settler’s Pond, and we’ve been a pumpkin patch and animal shelter here in Beecher, IL, since 1999. We specialize in animal rescue and we offer farm fresh eggs, honey, jelly, firewood, and much more. We started this business to make a difference in our small community and we have something for everyone from a petting zoo to agricultural education. We’re looking forward to partnering with Crete, Cedar Lake, IN, and Lowell, IN, consumers to continue to offer a premier pumpkin patch experience.
