“I just moved to the south suburbs and switched from Hoffman Estates Clinic (Hines VA) to the Chicago Heights Clinic (Jesse Brown VA) just TWO months ago.Long story short I have never had issues with the Hines VA network for merely 27 years, however for a lack of better words I DO NOT suggest any clinic affiliated with Jessie Brown VA.As a result I switched to the Oaklawn VA Clinic and met my new doctor today. Both my doctor and nurse gave me the care thar I have enjoyed over the last 27 years from the Hines Network!”

Both appointments took no longer than 10 minutes, and the clinic is very clean, staff is friendly. Daija was my phlebotomist and when i tell you her taking out my blood felt like i feather on me im not exaggerating. thank you to Odessa being great in the front desk too. “I've used MTL 3 times over the last 5 years to test a variety of materials in my 1950's house. I confess I might be slightly more worried about asbestos and lead than the average homeowner, but also I don't want my family to get cancer from remodeling the basement, right? That seems like a no-brainer to me. I've had a great experience every time I've worked with MTL and I highly recommend them, especially for homeowners.Call me old fashioned, but I believe it's simply the best practice to have an independent, un-biased lab test materials that could potentially cost thousands of dollars to safely remove. When you consider the cost of independent testing in the scope of the whole budget for remediation or a remodeling project, it's drops in the ocean.They're fast, as well. I've never had a turn-around longer than a day or two. Surely much faster than mailing your samples to whatever lab you found on the internet. I especially like how they have an after hours drop box. I can go about my day, put the kiddo to bed, and run a sample down at 10:00 PM.The reports they prepare are clear and straight forward. The couple of times I've had a question they got back to me right away and seemed genuinely happy to help. They give me the sense that they're proud of what they do. Perhaps they sit in the lab and cringe as they think about the thousands of projects going on that haven't been tested. Don't be that guy. Don't be cheap, don't be lazy, don't be macho; get your materials tested and don't die from mesothelioma, ok?”

“My 19 yr. Old passed out as soon as he was stuck. Marcella was awesome. Maria helped and they took his care of him. Marcella was determined to complete the draw if that's what we wanted, so we got him into a position that was safe if he passed out again and she got it done! So glad we didn't have to come back and do it all again another day. They got him a granola bar and Sprite too! They went above and beyond!”
