I had an outstanding experience at Petite Auto and RV - From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Joseph and Ed were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, answering all our questions with patience and expertise. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect vehicle for our needs.
We weren’t pressured into making a decision; instead, they provided honest advice and gave us the time we needed to make an informed choice.
The purchasing process was seamless and transparent.

I recently had the pleasure of selecting a gorgeous 2003 Lexor TD with Ed. This rig was (and is) the prettiest little coach on the market IMO and, if unexpected life issues hadn’t happened to me, I would be going down the road in this awesome Lexor right now!
But, ah well.. things did not go as planned for me and that gorgeous rig is still with Ed.
But I did want to highly recommend Ed and Petite to anyone looking for a quality coach.
I really can’t say enough good things about this dealership and how upstanding they are!

Recently, my wife and I drove to Petite Auto & RV Center near Chicago from central Wisconsin to look at some camper vans they had for sale. We met brothers, Ed and Joseph, at their new Gurnee, Illinois location and fell in love with a 2007 Roadtrek Popular 190. Right from the first introductions, their good natured, honest, and authentic selves came through; there was nothing fake, rehearsed, hard-sell, or “Used car salesman” about either of the brothers.
The Roadtrek was beautiful and fully “as advertised” in the posted pictures and description that accompanied the listing. Ed and Joseph were very knowledgeable about the vehicle and spent over 3 hours explaining all details of operations, including a test drive at highway speeds, and answering all of our questions.
They even paid for our stay at a comfortable well-appointed hotel for the night so we could “sleep on it”. The next morning, after much discussion, we regretfully realized we were not quite ready to purchase a campervan at this time. This decision had nothing to do with the van or the brothers, but with our need to work out some logistical issues before we could commit to such a big purchase. When we spoke to Ed that morning, we felt terrible having to tell him that we decided not to purchase the van. Ed’s response was understanding, gracious, and very professional, with no hard sell tactic, attitude, or guilt trip. Very refreshing! Working with this family-owned business was the best experience I have ever had trying to purchase a vehicle. The professionalism, knowledge, passion, and honesty displayed by Ed and Joseph were second to none! When we are ready to purchase an RV, we will definitely contact Petite Auto & RV Center and look forward to working with them again!

Joseph was very pleasant and easy to talk with over the phone and showed a lot of patience with me. Joseph, Ed, and their dad all came to my house when I had my van for sale. They went over it, was honest about everything, showing me what was good and what was not so good about it. I would recommend them.
