Tuffys Tire and Auto is a great place to take your car or truck if you need repairs. They are honest and will do a great job getting your car back on the road. Everyone there is professional and courteous. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, look no further.

Went to Tuffy Tire in Batavia the other day. Work day and I told them I would be able to make it there just around 5 PM. I arrived a few minutes Late. They normally close at 5 PM. However, they stayed Open for me. They ended up spending 20 minutes fixing my Car when they could have told me to come back the next day. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. It seems like most places these days wouldn't have done this for their clients. This place went the extra yard. They most certainly will be getting my business from now on.

Thanks to John and Todd at Tuffy’s in Batavia! I had a grinding noise coming from one of my brake rotors on Saturday morning. They fixed it right away and I was on the road again. Great service! I would definitely recommend taking your car to Tuffy’s for service.

Beware of Threatening Owner
I had a distressing and deeply concerning experience at Tuffy Auto Center in Batavia, IL, which I feel compelled to share to warn others.
My car broke down unexpectedly while I was passing through Batavia. I managed to get it towed to Tuffy Auto Center, hoping for a quick and straightforward repair. Initially, the owner quoted me a reasonable price for the service, which gave me some relief. However, things took a turn for the worse once my car was in their hands.
After a couple of hours, the owner called me back and abruptly changed the price, demanding significantly more money than initially quoted. When I questioned the sudden increase, he became extremely agitated and defensive. Realizing that I was being taken advantage of, I decided to leave and take my car elsewhere.
As I attempted to leave, the owner’s demeanor became even more hostile. He threatened me, saying, "This is a sundown town, and you better get out before the sun goes down." This threat was not only unprofessional but also deeply frightening, making me feel unsafe and unwelcome.
No one should have to experience such intimidation and hostility, especially when seeking help for car troubles. I strongly advise avoiding Tuffy Auto Center in Batavia, IL. There are plenty of other places where you can get your car serviced without the fear of being threatened. Stay away for your safety and peace of mind.

I highly recommend Tuffy Tire & Auto in Batavia for all your vehicle servicing needs. John and his team are exceptionally efficient and thorough. Every time I've brought my business and personal vehicles in, they've worked quickly without compromising on quality. Their service is top-notch, and I always feel confident driving away knowing my vehicles are in great shape. Their expertise and professionalism make them my go-to for maintenance and repairs. I had a great experience from the start! I needed to get some work done on my car and didn’t know where to go, but a friend recommended Tuffys and said they had received exceptional service. After taking my car in, I agree, they were timely, very friendly, and communicated great! John in particular was extremely kind and went above and beyond in taking care of the customer.The service exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

We have been going to this location since moving to Geneva approximately 5 years ago, and have never been disappointed. From oil changes, brakes, check engine light inspections, to our most recent visit for a failed alternator and battery, John and Todd and the whole team have been top notch. We had the car towed late Sunday night and dropped off in the parking lot. To our surprise, the team was able to diagnose the issue promptly the very next day, and even had it repaired that same afternoon. We were definitely not expecting this quick turn around without having an appointment made, but they made it happen and we are ever so grateful, especially with a new baby coming any day now. Thank you Tuffy’s Batavia for your continued excellent service and honest work - you’ve got us as customers for life.

John and his team were efficient, courteous, and honest. This was my first visit, this location came highly recommended from a family member. I was quoted for rear brakes to be completed at a dealer, and Tuffy discovered it was actually the front brakes that needed replacing. Excellent business practice for a sometimes difficult-to-trust auto repair market. I plan to return very soon for other needed service, yet nothing extra/additional was pushed on me at any point during my visit. Thank you for your professionalism and honesty!
