While the people who work at the H and R Block are kind, they completely messed up our simple tax return/amendment FOUR times. Unfortunately, if you don't purchase their guarantee, they (upper management) are OK with negligent work and dissatisfied customers. I would save your money and (more importantly) your sanity and just use TurboTax.
Edited to add that after calling the number below and explaining my story AGAIN, I did not even receive a call back. So you gave me a tiny bit of hope that I would be heard, but nothing came of it.

Very easy to get my tax returns completed and filed using the services of H&R Block. As a customer of H&R Block Tax Return Preparation services since tax year 2016 (now 6 tax years prepared), I am very satisfied with the accuracy, quality and value of the service provided. No need to use the services of anyone else. Also want to highlight the excellent work of Tax Analyst Tyra Malm for all of the past 6 years of completing and filing my Federal and State Income Tax Returns.

Jim and Cyndi were so friendly and helpful. I felt like I was more than just a customer here. I was unsure about how my experience at the office would be (being a big company versus going to my parents small business tax guy) but I was blown away. Very patient and I can tell that they are passionate about what they do!
Only bad thing was, it seemed to take a long time. I don't know how long taxes usually take to do, but I did have alot of questions. Jim went through every thing and explained it with his expertise.
