“My family has had a baby shower here, private work event, and brunch with Santa. Every single time it’s perfect and set up beautifully. The owner goes above and beyond to be involved and tend to his guests/customers. The family feel he brings and the environment of the business is why we keep going back!”
“Simply fabulous store and store owner. Wonderful holiday selections. She offers a wide variety for Christmas. Items that are cute and adorable that work well for families with little ones or for people that just prefer cute and adorable. Then on the hand there is Christmas decor that is magnificent, beautiful and elegant. I live a good hour away from Geneva and don't mind the drive to shop at Anastasia's”

1501 Indiana Ave, St. Charles“Trend + Relic has the most unique and curated decor and furniture. Beautiful furniture pieces, vintage items, jewelry/ purses, paintings and so much more. It's located in a stunning warehouse where you could spend hours just perusing. Definitely a place to get stand out pieces for reasonably priced.”
“This is one of the Ten Thousand Villages that has an annual handmade rug event, where you can come in and see the rugs. You might find handmade rugs someplace like The Dump in Lombard, however here you can be sure it's made by fairly-paid artisans and you don't need to wonder about child or slave labor. They often have interesting jewelry which is quite affordable; miscellaneous housewares; runners/napkins/placemats/aprons etc. and hand-knit hats/scarves/mittens. They even carry fair trade chocolate bars. It's a little bit like Pier 1 used to be but with fairly-paid artisans instead of mass merchandise. There's nothing here that you need, but there is probably something here that will make you smile. Staff is very pleasant and patient when you ask them to, say, show you every rug in a three-foot stack of carpets, and if you have something particular in mind, they'll help you find something similar.”
“The staff was incredibly helpful with finding the right pieces for us. Donna helped us get the measurements and even printed us out care instructions for our furniture. After all that she gave us several options for delivery and helped us organize it all. Great experience overall.”

Whether you're browsing or searching for something specific, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic experience. Their kindness and helpfulness are truly appreciated.Trend + Relic isn't just a store; it's an experience. It's a place where you can lose yourself in the magic of discovery and leave with a smile on your face. If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend paying them a visit. “My sales gal, Angie, was very polite and helpful, didn’t push me to make a decision on a chair, fabric, or fabric color. Explained any and all details with my order. I had a very pleasant experience selecting a Lazy Boy chair and I would totally recommend Angie to anyone.”
“Fantastic showroom with some of the most experienced friendly staff in the business. Consider them when making your kitchen renovation plans. You will not be disappointed”
“Perfect! Delivery was one time and quick. Very respectful as a I requested them to remove their shoes , as they go up my living room. I love my sofa. Looks pretty in my living room.”
“Such an incredible place! I was having a pretty rough day and my boyfriend decided to bring me here to help cheer me up. I felt like I transported into a magical wonderland. It felt like a safe space. I can’t wait to visit again!”
“Carolyn is a joy to work with. She helped us update our home so that it's comfortable for us, yet light and fresh for eventual resale. Carolyn listened carefully to all of our ideas and offered many options that we hadn't even considered. Her thoughtful guidance helped us with both major and minor updates to our home. She recommended many sources for materials and for tradesmen that she has vetted for her clients. Carolyn is low key and is a wealth of knowledge and experience. She really takes each of her client's needs and interests to heart. Her fees are quite reasonable and she saved us money in many areas with her expert advice. If you're looking for a first-rate experience, Carolyn is the one!”
“I love old stuff so we walked in. There wasn’t a load of what I crave (dirty cast iron) but there was enough to get me interested. I was impressed by the variety and the overall commitment to stocking quality items that have a story. Introduced myself to Dori and enjoyed chatting about the wares. I ended up leaving with another restoration project.”
“I love coming here!!! I’ve been a loyal customer of Julie since before COVID, and there’s a reason why! So many awesome gifts, if you’ve got a person with niche interests, Gather and Collect has the gift for them! Also love shopping the resale items, overall a great place to be!”

She made my experience personable which I really appreciated. The items available in store are unique and fashionable and I am very happy with my new purse and candle I purchased! I would highly recommend this boutique to friends and family and will be coming back the next time I visit Geneva.I”

212 S 3rd St, Geneva“This summer, we attended the annual Geneva Illinois Car Show. While we were there, I saw several people with shopping bags from The Cocoon Boutique store.I was intrigued, so I went inside to check out out.It is listed as a furniture and household goods store, but it is much more than that.Yes, they have some furniture, but, they also have a lot of eclectic kitschy items as well as some clothing. There is a vast assortment of soaps, toiletries, figurines, costume jewelry, and unique gift items. It's 2 floors of fun and I suggest that you stop in next time you're in the area.”
“I had the most fun here! I found a some gifts, something very special and a couple of things just for me. The sales gal, Julia was especially kind! Here a few snaps of what took my breath away!”
“Kim was so helpful in helping us find the right chair and ottoman for our sapce. She was especially helpful when it came to fabric selection. If you are looking for high quality, made in USA, furniture the I highLet recommend Penny Mustard.”
“Spiritcraft custom built a live edge, walnut table in January 2023. It was to our dimensions of 76 x 42" with a spider base. They were very patient with us through the design process with our fussy questions and requests for photos. The table was delivered on time, assembled in the house and it looks just like new 10 months later. No warping, no cracks - perfect. The whole process and quality of the table exceeded our expectations. So much better than buying from a high volume furniture store, knowing that a family business built it and stands behind the product. We looked at many competitors for live edge tables and this could not be beat. I share some pictures of the table below. I highly recommend Spiritcraft.”

530 Duane St, Glen Ellyn“I’ve been to this shop twice now. First time was almost by accident and so glad I happened upon it. Second time, I had a friend visiting from Milwaukee. We drove from downtown Chicago to the shop (about 35 mins) and the shop was closed. We inquired in a neighboring shop and long story short, a wonderful neighboring retailer opened the shop until someone could get there to ring up our purchases. It is an amazing shop with great gifts (for others or yourself!) and the retailers in that little strip are second to none!! I will shop here continuously for all my special gifts!! Thanks to the owner and her amazing staff and the friendship of the neighboring shops.”

Vintage pieces reasonably priced, new ones(clothing, & accessories) a bit high but good quality items and special. Also, some new specialty house items. Nice Sales rep, place smells amazing and it’s super clean.”

11 S 3rd St, Geneva“We’ve been coming to Geneva for around 15 years. Went to the Royal Wren and it is a must go place. First of all, really nice wine tasting at reasonable prices for the quality. Also, my wife has wheat allergies, and after talking with the owner (they go out of their way to help) she recommended a spaghetti that is from Italy, which doesn’t have all the GMO this country cherishes. Mancini Pastificio Ageicolo. My loving wife had no issues with the spaghetti , unlike what we get in this country. It was hands-down, the best we’ve ever had. As if we never had spaghetti before. A lot of other nice items to purchase in the shop. A must go to place again.”

“Cute shop nestled between several great restaurants in the downtown Bartlett area! Great furniture pieces in there and at very affordable prices! I was very surprised how fair the prices were for the solid wood furniture!”
