I still bring my Explorer to Wickstrom and they continue to do great work. Super nice people and always talk me through the process. They take great care of my car and appreciate how kind they are every time I come in. I typically use Jon in the service department and he’s awesome; super helpful. I recently had Rob as my service advisor and he was great too! Everyone is super helpful.
I did not buy my Ford Explorer through Wickstrom but that hasn’t stopped them from giving me outstanding service. I only take my explorer to Wickstrom thanks to their fantastic service department. I drive over 40 minutes to get my oil changed just so I can have these guys do the work. Austin in the service department has been awesome to work with. I’ve have a few recalls and a repair done and every time he’s kept me in the loop. The facility is clean and so welcoming and everyone is so nice. Hoping my explorer makes it quite a few more years but when I need a new car I’ll definitely be getting one through Wickstrom. Great job guys!

Customer service was outstanding! Rob explained all work that needed to be done at that time, and also mentioned work that could be done at a later date as well. Complimentary valet service was so helpful and greatly appreciated!

My wife and I had a great buying experience working with Chris Krason. He was very helpful, friendly and not high pressure. He took time with us to look at several vehicles and assisted us through the decision process while allowing us to come to our own conclusion as to which vehicle to purchase. Nick Sjoblom explained the paperwork taking time to answer our questions at the closing and also the next day when we had several more items for clarification.

I've been coming to the Service department of Wickstrum Ford for several years and it is always a pleasant, professional experience. Mark McCarthy is a great Service Advisor and I appreciate the fact that there is plenty of workspace available to minimize my downtime.

Wickstrom Ford in Barrington is not an upstanding dealership. From the sales and service departments to the owner , Richard Wickstrom, I have been completely frustrated and tired of the run around I have received. Do not purchase their warranty as they do not stand by it. Their service department is not responsive. When they tell you they will check something they do not. have a F-150 with the known cam phaser issue, they denied it in service multiple times and never fixed the issue. The extended warranty they sold me has given me the runaround since I tried to make a claim. I've sent several e-mails to management with no response. I will be buying my next truck somewhere else.

Had a car issue and Wickstrom's was helpful with the whole process, they sent a mobile technician to try and fix the car, the car ended up needing to be towed which they helped arrange, and they explained the issues well once they found the problem. Wickstrom's also dropped the car off once it was finished which was nice. Great service, as usual.

I've dealt with many dealerships and salespeople over the years, but Chris K at Wickstrom was hands-down the best! Due to my work situation, I wasn't able to directly meet to go over the details of my purchase, but he was more than willing to work with me via phone and text/email to get the entire process taken care of up until it was time to come in, sign, and drive away. Easily the fastest and most pain-free car buying experience I've ever had! I'll definitely be coming back and working with Chris again!
