“Great hotel and stay, but as it’s getting cold at night, and having coffee throughout the day isn’t important as coming in at 5:30 in the evening and the coffee is old and not hot at all. 5 stars if you brewed coffee for your guest return each day in the evening around 5pm. So every checkin during the cold evening is greeted with cold coffee. This is an easy fix. I’ll be back in a week or two.Signed A lifetime diamond member.”

“The rooms could use some updating but ours was very clean as were the lobby and hallways. The mini fridge was not working but they had ice available. The eating area for breakfast was large and comfortable. Special mention should be given to the lady that was in charge of the breakfast area. Even with all the people getting food she kept the food area spotless and well stocked.”
“Front lobby is very inviting! The front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful!! The room is very clean. The bathroom could use being a bit bigger. Multiple ballroom's for events and gatherings! Gym is hidden, though has a fair amount of barbells.Rooms: Rooms are extra clean”

Quiet, very clean, and rooms large enough to feel like a small apartment. The staff was very nice. It's a prime location where you'll find everything you need in a short radius. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying here again.”
“We stayed one night here in the jacuzzi suite. Rooms are very nice and clean. The bed was not comfortable and the shower was ok. The jacuzzi needed cleaning. The free breakfast was ok. Located within driving distance of many restaurants and less than 15 minutes from Woodfield Mall. It was ok for one night, but probably wouldn't return.”

“Stayed here overnight for a work trip and had an excellent experience. My flight landed super early and the front desk was extremely helpful and was able to get me into my room so I could relax before my meetings started. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. There was a nice sitting area in one corner, the bathroom was a decent size, and the bed was comfortable. Can’t ask for much more. Overall my stay here was very pleasant - the next time I’m in town this is where I’ll be staying!”

“Enjoyed our stay with kids. Amazing location, with all amenities. With very young kids its the best location. We booked a suite with 2 rooms with a kitchen inside. It's like mini apartment. Another Sink was outside with two full washrooms. One with an attached room and one common. 3x TVs. Iron and board, microwave, stove, coffee maker plates, cups, dish washer. utensils, fridge, frying pan and pots and much more. Food was average however, you will not be hungry. All hotels are aggressively executing cost-saving measures specifically on breakfasts. If coming to Chicago, definitely will stay here.”

They have vending machines, ice, washer & and dryer, and microwave available for use. Internet works great. And they allow pets. We've stayed here twice a year for family events for a few years running and have never had an issue.”

“This hotel has been my general go to for many years when in the Chicago area for work. There have been a significant amount of improvements made over the last few years and it has dramatically improved the experience. Then entire common area, bar, breakfast space, etc has been rehabbed recently and it is huge upgrade.The highlight of this particular Embassy (I stay at a lot of them) is the breakfast and breakfast staff. While embassy in general has a good breakfast, this one a more personal touch with polite service, quick cleaning, and a few added extras like excellent salsa for the omelets and few other extras at the omelet bar.I will also add that during my last two stays, they have resumed daily cleaning of the rooms. Very few hotels have resumed this since COVID so I’m happy to have that return here.I was particularly impressed during a recent stay when the new General manager was walking around clearing tables and engaging with the guests. He also engaged with me as I checked out in the morning. It’s nice to see a GM on the floor willing to help his staff out to make the guest experience better.On the down side, this is an older building and some of the rooms show it. Loud HVAC, tubs instead of walk in showers and older carpet, paint, and decor. It seems like they are gradually working through those renovations so it’s hit or miss whether you get a new or older room. One other thing is the SLOW elevators so hopefully those are on the upgrade list for the near future.”

“I was there for the holidays. I was surprised when my room was cleaned on Christmas Eve. I called the front desk and was informed that the cleaning staff had two days off. I was honored to get fresh linen from the desk. I was happy that the cleaning staff had the day off. One young lady told me that she was the only one there and that a complimentary breakfast would be given on Christmas morning. That breakfast was awesome! I got to mention the warm cookie. It was yummy. Thanks, Doubletree!Nearby activities: It is close to a mall, businesses, and not far from O'Hara Airport.Food & drinks: There are lots of restaurants nearby. Had BBQ from Blackwood, restaurant in the nearby mall. It was really good.”

“Pretty basic hotel but it gets the job done.I was in 225 and the room was nice enough, it had a balcony overlooking the pool and pond out back, great for a nice breeze this time of year. Shower had nice pressure and was hot but the sink only got Luke warm water for some reason. Definitely dated carpet in the room and some parts in the bathroom had the shower peeling from what looked like water damage. Laura from the front desk was very pleasant professional and polite, she definitely deserves a raise or promotion from how she handled herself, the guests and the operation she is absolutely a Dimond in the rough. All in all it was a nice spot for the price I paid ($85).Walkability: Seemed safe and there were people walking around the pond and pool outside, nice spot for a smoke as well”

“Location is great for when we visit my sister. They were renovating alot of the rooms when we checked in. New toilets, beds, TV stands. Big improvement since we stayed there last year. Cheapest place in the area. We just needed a place to sleep and shower and breakfast. Breakfast is the same, biscuit/gravy, bagels, mini muffins, bread, some fruit and waffle bar. Nothing extravagant but it fills the belly.”

“You know honestly if your desperate and need a place too crash or stay for a few weeks there price is unbeatable I have dealt w some hard times here and they always were nice people and had smiles on there faces I was homeless living here at one point it was more of a home then anything! The rooms are a bit dirty and unclean sometimes but it depends on workers the rooms I had were nice and not terrible yes it's a iffy motel! But for this deal u can't beat it the neighbors and people u live w can be cool sometimes it depends! This place kept me and my girl and cat from living in the car ! Again if you have no where else too go and this is your last resort or your just getting a room too go out and explore etc... you can live here and many people do just know if h want a nice room and clean this ain't folks! THANKS TOO MOTEL 6 ROLLING MEADOWS YOU HELPED ME MANY TIMES !!!”

“The hotel was priced at a reasonable rate, which l secured through a third party. Because of the price, l can claim to be satisfied with my stay. The only derogatory comment I can write about is the smell in the corridors and lobby. There should never be any noticeable scent, particularly if it's unpleasant. I can't accurately describe the scent other than to say it wasn't a clean one. Cleanliness, unequivocally, should be the paramount, incessant concern of all hotel owners. On the positive side, one of the workers immediately came to my aid when he saw that my card key wasn't functioning properly. Also, a different worker knocked on my door just hours after checking in to provide additional towels. Both of those instances happened without requesting them. I would return to this hotel.”
