I have been bringing my BMW cars to Motor Werks BMW of Barrington for over 10 years. I am consistently impressed by their genuine concern for the customer. Their commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is evident.Throughout each service process, their communication has been exemplary, keeping me informed with regular updates through email, phone calls, and text messages. Going above and beyond, they offer conveniences such as car loaners or Lyft rides back to my home or workplace. While acknowledging that dealership servicing might come with a slightly higher cost compared to local options, Motor Werks BMW took the time to sit down with me, exploring various pricing options and demonstrating a flexibility in working with customers.A particularly nice aspect is the comprehensive video report sent via email, where the actual technician working on my car explains any issues uncovered during the initial inspection before work begins. This transparency is not only refreshing but also instills confidence.As a result of my recent visit, I would like to commend two exceptional individuals from their service team, Robert Oberding and Marc Collura. Robert patiently explained processes and pricing details, always steering clear of any pressure tactics for quick decision-making. Following up on their commitment, Marc contacted me to ensure my satisfaction. Despite the scale of this dealership, Motor Werks BMW maintains an environment that feels very much like a family-run business.I've recently heard about the change in ownership at Motor Werks of Barrington. My sincere hope is that the exceptional customer service I've come to appreciate over the years continues under the new management. I had a great experience at BMW of Barrington.Fareed Niroumandpour was a great help with taking care of my lease car ending the lease period and showing me the best available options for buying a car .He went above and beyond and helped me to find the best available car which I'm in love with and he made sure that car is what I really want and it covers all check boxes for me .Thank you Fareed and Motorwerk for all your efforts to keep your customers happy .

I called Saturday to make sure a used CRV was on the lot to come and look at. From the first phone call the customer service was top notch. They called me back right away and I was on the way to look at it. When I got to the dealer I was met by Robert Dunfrund with a smile and ready to assist me. We went on a test drive and I really liked the car. I had gotten a text when we sat down that a car I wanted to see at another dealer was ready and I could come look at it. I felt like an idiot but told Robert I didn't want to regret not looking at it before I decided on this one. He was very understanding and didn't push me into making a decision. I regret I took up some of his valuable time on a Saturday but I would highly recommend him. He was also kind enough to keep me posted on that vehicle until I made a decision. Great customer service!!

Very unhappy with BMW service. I reserved loaner car when I scheduled service for my car. They said no cars were available and called me a Lyft. Lyft driver took 20 minutes to arrive. Service employees told me that the Lyft drivers don't know where service entrance is. Get your act together BMW. This is NOT a good customer service experience.

Truly a bunch of crooks we seen a 2000 Jeep Cherokee we wanted to by that was listed on line for 34995 we spoke to the online sales manger to see if they can discount it at all we where told price on used cars are negotiable for serious buyers on person when we got their price wasn't negotiable at all and yet they added another $2000 to the price saying that they did some kind of body sealer to protect the customer a nice way to rob you if you don't know We drove 2 hours one way in a very bad stormy day because we where told others are also interested in that car and it's such a hot item bottom line we where willing to buy it at list price and that still didn't work I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and I will make sure that I post them on every website I'm gonna post the same thing and yelp I advise no one to go away from those crooks.

Set an appointment to see a car after work and told them I would be coming from the city. Drove the hour and a half to get there and was told they actually already sold the car in the morning. The vehicle is still on the website for sale.

I can only speak for their service center. But they were extremely helpful. Eric helped with everything he could and had incredible communication. They go in depth with their service work and I highly recommend it for any BMW owner. The only reason it's not 5 stars is they are still priced pretty high. But it's worth it for the work they put in.

Have been to the BMW Dealership several times now. Always excellent and helpful customer service. Erik is on top with communication, updates and information, a loaner when needed and all other aspects of great service. Great place to bring your BMW.

This review is for the service department.I took my vehicle in for service mid October 2021. There was a noise coming from the left front driveline that should not exist (I had my vehicle in for the same complaint earlier that summer. I was advised of a technical service bulletin and that they would make the repairs and see if it resolved the issue).First of all the service team could not re-create the noise. So I had to come back in and demonstrate it for them. It was easily replicable (my instructions were accelerate moderately or heavily and turn left at the same time and you will hear it). After service team discussed internally and then with BMW USA they determined that the issue might be the axle and parts needed to be ordered. I was told it might be 6-8 weeks before those arrived as they were none available in the US. I was told My vehicle was safe to drive during that time. Knowing there are crazy delays in moving materials around the world due to the pandemic, I was patient. The rest of October came and went, November came and went, then December came and went. I finally reached out to my service advisor mid January... who never replied to me. After reaching out a second time he finally responded and said that the parts were here and he doesn't understand why no one notified me to come in and have the service completed (isn't that YOUR job mr. Service advisor???). This is not the first or second time I have had communication challenges with the service department/advisor.Just now I received a text message from my service advisor asking permission for his technician to take my vehicle home with him or her to make sure that the issue has been resolved. The service advisor did not indicate how long my vehicle would be gone or how far it would travel to and from. Seeing as I am writing this review at 5 o'clock in the evening I would also assume that the technician would have taken it home overnight. Well I appreciate them asking permission, under no circumstances is that question even something I consider professional to ask.At this point I am ready to sever all ties with BMW of Barrington. They continue to be a disappointment and do not service me at the level I expect from owning one of their brand vehicles.-----------This segment in response to dealer's response to above: Thanks for the explanation... though you've done nothing to persuade me to continue using your service department even though your location is most convenient to my home. I used to feel like I was getting a concierge treatment from Motorwerks. Things have clearly changed over there in the past years (I believe new ownership amongst others). The not negotiating a dime on an over priced car this Summer caused me to make a purchase elsewhere. Maybe stop defending and start listening to your customers feedback!!
