Switched back to this office after a bad experience with my previous PCP. I've always felt heard here and have no hesitations bringing up my concerns. I was able to get a diagnosis (finally!) for something I had struggled with for years. Dr. Derken is great and the other doctor is great as well. Staff is always kind and helpful as well. Would recommend to anyone, especially to those that have had bad experiences in the past with other PCPs.

I have been a patient here for over 20 years. Since COVID they have turned into shot pushing mask wearing practice. And honestly they don't really think outside the box or listen to their patients when asking about medical issues. The one Dr that did listen to their patients doesn't work their anymore. Go find better general physician somewhere else.

Only reason I am giving the practice 2 stars is because I love the doctors here. I’m in my 30s and have been seeing the doctors since I was a young child. Despite the wonderful medical practitioners- my family and I are leaving and finding other providers. The front office staff is horrendous. They’re rude, curt, and unprofessional. They never filled my prescription refills, they don’t pass messages onto the doctor. When I tried scheduling an appointment recently when sick, the receptionist snapped at me to call back the next day. I did call 10 minutes past the open time (their phones weren’t on at opening) and was told very rudely that I was too late and all appointments were gone. The receptionist then hung up on me. Our final straw was when the front office staff called my husband to cancel his August wellness visit that he scheduled back in April. They gave him no reason why they were cancelling and told him their next available appointment for a wellness visit was in December! Absolutely unacceptable. We are finding new providers that will hopefully treat my family with respect.

Rude receptionist. I called to schedule an appointment and was told you must call same-day to be seen. Fast-forward to the next business day, I called 20 minutes after the practice opened to try to get an appointment and was told there were no more appointments. Okay, fine.No other explanation, no further help. Just a curt receptionist with poor customer service skills! Disappointing.

Been going here for almost 25 years and have never had any issues. All the doctors are amazing and the staff is always helpful. Hope the service will continue now that they are part of Advocate.

After being on the phone for over an hour to schedule an appointment and waiting to talk to a nurse, the incorrect file was pulled and the appointment was made for someone else. Plus, my personal information was getting updated on someone else's file, and I was asked the same questions 4x.I *thought* the issue was resolved and the appointment was finally booked for me, however I received a call a few days later saying that they were actually overbooked and the appointment I waited over an hour to make would have to be rescheduled (I already requested the time off to make this appointment). Disappointed and frustrated with their lack of organization.

I would give more stars for Dr. Derken but am frustrated by other aspects. I have not been able to get any of my test results for the last four years. The system they use, which is an app, is not compatible with my devices. I have told the office staff this numerous times. I have asked to have my result mailed and even provided a self addressed stamped envelope only to be told this is not an acceptable way to get my results.. Legally I am entitled to my results . I cannot understand why there is not an alternate solution unless I am the only patient with this issue.

I don't write many reviews but I had to share this. I wish I could give this place more stars. I have seen multiple doctors there and my experience has been average. The major complaint I have is the fact that whenever I walk into the office 9/10 times nobody at the front desk says hello or acknowledges me. There are usually 2-3 people sitting there. It is extremely awkward. Isn't this "working the front desk 101"? I just feel so unwelcome when I come. Just a "hello, we will be with you in a moment" would make a world of difference.

I've been going to Dr. Brak for over 25 years. Loved when Dr. Derken joined her and think both are THE BEST. Peggy answers the phone and is awesome. Pam is a fabulous nurse. I feel very taken care of there and refuse to go to any other doctors!
