We had such an amazing experience with Taste Buds Kitchen! It was a great birthday party and all the kids had so much fun. The staff was great with the kids and helped with cutting the cake and eveything. This was by far the easiest birthday party I have hosted yet.

We enjoyed the evening but were surprised when it said BYOB and my husband brought one beer but was charged as if he had bought a beer there. Not sure why it says BYOB then! I understand an uncorking fee for wine but just bringing one beer from home in and being charged was a bit much.

Tastebuds held my son's 6th birthday party and everyone had a great time. It was very easy to book, confirm numbers, etc. We just showed up with the birthday boy and birthday cake and literally everything else was taken care of: set-up, gift bags, serving cake, clean-up, etc. My son said it was his favourite part of his weekend and that included a visit to the zoo, so it's strong praise.

OMG tonight was the best experience I have ever has with great friends. We took the cooking class tonight and the theme was Mardi Gras. We made Jambalaya, cucumber salad and King cake...and my friend Tom got the piece with the baby, so he has to make this cake next year. Lol. I definitely recommend Taste Buds Kitchen to anyone who is looking for a fun cooking experience for a date night or with a group of friends. It is B.Y.O.B and you enjoy dinner after. FYI...our food was amazing!!!

My husband surprised me with a pasta making class for Valentine’s Day and unfortunately he tested positive for Covid morning of. We were considerate enough not to attend the class thinking we could reschedule for a later time. My husband called and emailed Taste Buds Kitchen that morning, however we learned that they do not check voicemails or emails on the weekends. How convenient?! Monday morning he called and spoke to Jennifer and he was told there’s nothing they can do. So maybe we should have attended the class and exposed everyone. The lack of customer service is deplorable. They’d rather lose a customer (because we would NEVER consider giving them our money again), rather than being considerate as we were when we decided to stay home and not exposes others. At the very least offer customers a chance to pick up the ingredients they already paid for with a set of instructions on how to make the dish at home. Instead they pocket the money and call it a day. Terrible business practice.

I booked a Saturday afternoon Valentine's class for my wife and I and unfortunately got sick the day of the class. I called that morning to let them know and see if I could reschedule. They don't answer calls on the weekends or reply to emails. I called Monday morning just to follow up and hope they would help me to reschedule for another day. I was told there is nothing they can do and I just lose my $200. I understand that they have a policy to cancel within 5 days of the class but a little customer service goes a long way. I made an attempt to let them know as soon as possible and there was nothing I could do about it.
