By FAR the WORST medical waste management company to work with. THE WORST. First a rep from their company calls us with a “promotion” to have someone come in to pick up for our office plus give us 3 sharp bins per year. Got 1 bin, never got the other 3. Then halfway in the year we realize nobody came to pick up our sharps. Called & they apologized and said they will send someone over. The guy who came to pick up said someone should’ve came by yo pick it up for us. The following year rolls by and we realized a second pick up never came through for the 2 allotted a year. Called again and the operator said that we had to call in and request a pick up. I told her 3 people told me someone was supposed to come and pick it up. NOT 1 of those 3 individual ever mention that we’d have to call to request this. Because already the trouble they caused us and the lack of service we reduced our plan to buying and mailing out our containers for $15. Yet a month later I received more bills for services that were never given. I called twice an everyday for four days to address this issue. Everytime they said the person to handle this will call me back. NEVER got a call back to this day. An operational company should have at least basic customer service. If you can’t even address a customer’s call you honestly shouldn’t be in business. Terrible. Would give this company a 0 star if possible. Will NOT recommend Stericycle to ANYONE. Literally ANY other company is better.

We have called and emailed for support on our account. For one, the call center is overseas and we are transferred to the Elk Grove office where we have left multiple voicemails. The customer service emailed created requests on our emails and then immediately close the request before assisting you. Terrible customer service! They also increased the price of the invoice without informing customers and will invoice the new cost after the pickup. There is no professionalism or transparency with this company. Beware!

They have attempted to charge me for pick ups that do not exist and never happened. Even in their attempts to validate the reasons for the charges they mistakenly show their scam claiming they picked up containers on 6/15/24. I unfortunately do not own a time machine so am unable to verify they have picked up containers then but what I do know is they have not picked up any previously. The extremely rude driver did finally show up once unannounced and when we asked him to give us a minute to get the containers just replied he doesn't have time and to reschedule. This is likely part of their scam because upon attempting to reschedule they then try to charge for an additional pick up. It's truly incredible how a company like this can even be in business. They pride themselves in unethical, fraudulent, and shady business practices.
I have a receipt from that rude driver who wrote no containers picked up and the security footage of the drive not picking up the containers. Not sure how you will get around that Scamcycle.

Update - Just found the container our driver, Vinnie, was supposed to pickup. He went out of his way to put it back inside our building instead of on his truck & charged us for a "non pickup"Original Review: Driver was in bad mood for today’s pickup upon arrival & very unprofessional. Shouted at me after I refused to sign something agreeing to pay for a “non pickup” because I couldn't find labels (driver normally prints necessary labels upon arrival). He then proceeded to wander throughout our facility for ~45 more minutes disrupting other staff members looking for a supervisor because "I argued with him" instead of just providing basic customer service/ troubleshooting. He ended up taking our waste after I found the labels, but the overall experience was very unprofessional & slightly scary. Most unprofessional customer service that I’ve ever received from a vendor - was very close to contacting our campus security team.Service: Hazardous waste removal & disposal

Sent my account into collections and suspended my services until they "receive a credit card payment" despite them having been paid in full all year long. I've provided proof numerous times and have yet to hear back from anyone that is able to correct the issue. Everytime they give me a phone number to "someone who can help" it just takes me to their phone payment service.

Unbelievably poor service.- Never met the timeline- Ship wrong items and kept charging- Send bills to wrong address and caused confusion on our sites- Asked them to figure out the cause of the issue and to resolve but never ever…..I can list up more if you like….. We signed 5 year contract with them but we fully regret this. A lot of hidden fees as well. Although it’s not written in the proposal or the contract, they charge whatever they want and nothing is reasonable to them. If you read this, I highly recommend you to pick other medical waste vendors. They‘re much better….

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 14 years in this field. They keep billing us and they have not been here in 6 months. I keep calling and they keep giving us pick up dates but nobody ever comes, customer service is a joke and their transportation department is a hot mess! We have sharps containers stacked up and I finally had enough, switching to a different company today!

Thieves. Stay away as much as possible. Have been charged every month despite not getting a Sherpa pick up for 1.5 years.

They never come in to pick up the waste. They never pick up the phone. They never replied to my emails, and they dare to demand a payment. This company is a big time scam, beware.

My experience with them is as a former employee. I worked with them for almost 6 years and the chain of command is frightening to say the least. Extremely poor communication, customer service was a joke and the front line workers are left as the face of the company taking all the heat from angry customers. I loved my co-workers and immediate supervisors and was always told that I was doing a good job. But when the contract was bought by someone else my job was eliminated and I was not even considered for other positions in which I am highly qualified. Also, do not ever get hurt on this job because you will be left paying for it yourself. After almost 2 years of supervisors and even HR telling me that the bills were paid I am still getting bills in the mail and collection calls. The theory of this company is good and most of the workers are good honest people. But the corporate side of this business is underhanded and needs to be restructured from the top.Bottom line is I did enjoy my job and most of the people I worked with, however the ethics here are severely lacking.

Driving in New Mexico coming up on construction a stericycle truck attempted to run myself and two other cars off the road trying to avoid waiting in the construction line. In attempting to get a hold of the corporate office to voice the danger this driver was presenting to myself and two other cars, it is near impossible to get past the automated system, currently waiting for a call back about the incident.
