This is very surprising but I was not pleased with Mariano’s today. I traveled 30 minutes for cooked salmon and the gentleman working in the seafood section didn’t know how to cook it. He explained he was new and didn’t know what he was doing. They should train their employees so this doesn’t happen.

A white man walking around in dark sun glasses, black fanny pouch, and a hat decided to follow me around here! He had what look like 2 cans of cat food in his hand, the first time I saw him. He later put them down and kept watching me, WHILE IN THE CHECK OUT LINE PAYING FOR MY FOOD!. HE PACED BACK AND FORTH UP AND DOWN THE ASILE! HE KNOWS I WAS WATCHING HIM, WATCH ME. HE FINALLY TURNED AROUND OUT OF FRUSTRATION AND WENT THE OTHER WAY! I WILL KEEP MY REVIEWS GOING, IF IM CONTINUED TO BE FOLLOWED. ALL BLACK WOMEN DO NOT LOOK ALIKE, NOR SHOULD WE BE FOLLOWED AS IF WE ARE PLANNING TO STEAL. STOP OR PREPARE TO BE SUED!

The one star is for the aggravation trying to call this store. It shouldn't be that hard. You either have someone answer and direct the person to the right dept, OR, you have an automated answer that lists the departments. Maybe listen to Jewel's or Mariano's.

Good grocery store. Decent produce, full service deli, butcher, and fish counters. Wide selection and even some small varieties of ethic groceries.
