At first it started off just fine. The owner was nice and pleasant. But then he couldn't find the keys to the truck. After he finally found them he gave us the paperwork without taking the walk around the truck. I rented the truck for 3 hours to move a couch. I had to be at the location at a specific time. When I get to the location, I find that there is a padlock on the back of the truck and we can't open the door to load it. There is no key to be found. So, I call to speak to him and he starts arguing with me saying that there isn't a lock on the truck and starts speaking to me like I'm a child trying to tell me how to open the door. I tell him I know how to open the door, but there's a lock on it! He continues to argue with me and asks me to send him a picture because he didn't believe me. He then proceeds to tell me to take it to another U-Haul location to get the lock of. Which of course is adding mileage to my bill! There was no offer of compensation or to help whatsoever. He was still arguing with me and then hung up. So eventually I get the lock off and we finally get the job done. He told us that the location would be open until 3pm. We get there at 2:15 to drop off the truck and of course he closed the store early and left. Most unprofessional place ever! I'll never rent from there again.

The owner was very helpful. This recent rental was very smooth.

The Furniture Warehouse U-Haul dealer is trying to charge me a three gallon gas surcharge at $4.25 per gallon when I only put 9 miles on this rental and I refueled it with almost 2 gallons before I returned it. Do not trust this dealer! And why is U-Haul okay with this sort of abuse.

I highly reccomend this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was extremely happy because they were the only location with the truck I needed to rent.
