From the phone in-take person, front desk staff, nurses/assistants, Dr. Kacmar's office is a calm, professional, knowledgeable center that I would highly recommend to anyone needing medical assistance.

I’ve been seeing Dr K for around 4 years (and referred many patients to him) but never made any real progress working w him alone. In fact I gained 40 pounds - most of it rapid and sudden - when I had never had a weight issue my entire life, and a host of other issues (high triglycerides, high cholesterol, etc.) which were never really addressed or even discussed. Which is why I was seeking the help of a female health specialist on the side (who can’t order blood labs as she’s based out of the country). Dr Kacmar really wasn’t willing to cooperate and refused to run 3 thyroid labs I requested from him (which the specialist wanted to see so we could assess my thyroid function). Dr K actually already authorized the order during an office visit made just to ask him for the labs, but he happened to order the wrong thyroid markers. I couldn’t do anything with the incorrect labs he ordered, so I was calling the office for 3 weeks waiting for a reply so I could finally get the right thyroid labs done. I finally got a call that he just wouldn’t agree to it. Not even come in to discuss it, nada. Just flat out won’t do it. I trusted him as my dr for 4 years. But clearly I’m just one patient of many so they don’t care to lose a patient. And the worst part is how the staff didn’t care whatsoever. I said “ok? I guess I’ll have to find a new dr who can help me then bc I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do,” and they were literally like ok, see ya. Very very disappointing. I was always very polite and respectful of the staff and Dr, so to be dismissed so quickly was extremely disheartening.

I highly recommend Dr. Kacmar to anyone looking for an attentive, caring and nice physician. For 16+ years I have trusted Dr. Kacmar with my medical care. The added plus is his specialty in sports ailments. My old knee injury from skiing is pleased. Also, he has surrounded himself with a great staff!

Once again, I was there for a follow up visit with Dr. Kacmar. He had me repeat some blood work. My glucose and triglycerides had been elevated and my vitamin D3 and B12 levels were low. Following his recommendations for diet and exercise and adding some vitamins resulted in my glucose levels dropping over 40 points and my triglycerides returning to normal. My vitamin levels also improved significantly. Dr. Kacmar is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone!
