I received superb service from Noah at the Aurora store. He was patient and he answered all of my questions. Lens price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this store.

i’m feeling bad that there is no way to give negative ratings for this company. i’m a Canadian resident and i placed an order ( s5iix) in the month of june this year over online. I believe the order was placed on the livonia store. i received the package through fedex and did pay the custom duties to get the package. upon opening, i was shocked to see a different camera than the one i ordered. i immediately informed the team and sent them the pics of the items i received to them on email.After sending the email, i was trying to reach them on email and calls, but no response. my calls were disconnected and no response on my emails till date. i’m disgusted on myself to trust these people and paying for the item. I happen to talk to the manager Mr. Frank, but the person was very rude and even disrespectful. I was given an invoice which don't show the serial number. i’m trying to get the money i paid ( 2970 cad ) and i’m still trying to get my money. Until now zero information is given on my enquiry and the store and trying to deny my request with no proper reason.I’m now seeking the law to intervene and get this issue solved. These guys are so lethargic on call and are showing sheer resistance to accept the mistake and provide the refund for their mistake. Its been over 100 days and still they are keeping silent. I did call them again earlier this week, the manager was rude stating they are not going to talk about it. This store is a scam and please be careful before ordering.I‘m aware of the process to get the refund by taking legal measures, but this review is to educate the customers about the scam these people doing on their customers.Guys please i request everyone to be careful and cautious doing business with these people. They dont care about customers and also never respond to any questions incase of any problem.Save yourself from these bogus stores. They will definitely pay for everything they caused and i hope they stop doing this to the customers.PROCAM - SCAM

I don’t have enough words to properly convey how great of a job the team at Procam did converting my grandfathers old 8mm film reels to digital format. I brought in a huge pile of old film I found in my dads storage unit after he passed and they helped me organize and date the reels and then took it from there. They repaired and recolored what they could, and ultimately curated an absolutely priceless treasure trove of videos no one had been able to watch for 50+ years. I got to watch my grandparents get married, see my dad as a baby, my grandparents dropping my dad off to college in the 70’s, and SO much more. Truly cannot thank the team enough for what they did for my family and me.I know there’s a quite a few companies to choose from when it comes to digital conversion, but this is the company you can and should trust. They are careful with the film, relatively quick, and I can absolutely attest that they are worth the price. Convert your stuff while you can! It won’t last forever.**Video of my grandparents getting married in 1947 **

Unprofessional, argumentative and almost 'hostile". I was greeted at the door with 4 red uniformed shirted persons standing with a few feet of each other and all focused on me and my guest. No smiles , no hellos, just stares...very unusual i thought but i was looking for a camera. I said hello first to one and he (Kirk or Kurt ) first asked "what camera resolution " are you looking for . I answered that I did not know how to answer that . He then in a raised volume repeated the question and with a tone of arrogance added "how can i help you if you don't know". It just got more "jargon based" and elevated to him being aggressive in tone. I told him I would look around and let him know if I needed anything. He was so aggressively hostile with his demeanor I honestly thought he may escalate and act further. Worst encounter I have ever experienced. I did not and will not ever make a purchase there. I live in Aurora and try to do business in Aurora , that employee reflects disgracefully on my community.

For someone who is venturing deeply down the photography rabbit hole, a specialty store like this is amazing. I had been angsting over whether to buy a budget Sony Prime Lens (50mm, f/1.8) or whether it's more expensive/lauded companion (Zeiss 55mm, f/1.8) was worth it. This is the only place in the area that allows for rentals - they have a vast array of lenses across all major camera systems. I was able to rent the Zeiss for a week at a very affordable price - they require you to put a deposit on almost the full-value of the lens - which I feel like is reasonable for borrowing extremely high-precision equipment (they refund it to you afterwards). I was able to test it through the weekend and ended up loving it. I will definitely be going back to PROCAM in the future as I figure out what I want to experiment with and eventually get for my photography needs.

The 15% restocking fee is what kills this place for us. Makes sense on small items, horrible on items over $4,000. Now my gf is stuck with a camera she isn't completely happy with. And yes, we tried to rent it, but drove an hour to this location just to find out the lens we wanted was rented to someone else, after the guy on the phone told me it would be there waiting. We kinda just rushed and bought it because we were going on a trip in a couple days.

I have been a long time customer of procam in aurora and each experience has been nothing shy of professionalism and knowledge.I do a lot of custom photo projects and have had the pleasure of dealing with Stacey and April, they both are absolutely amazing. They are so creative and willing to make your experience and your project an incredible piece of art.I've done family vacation to my team gifts there for many years.On the equipment side of the house my go to guy is Eric but I have worked with Vincent and Jim and I always leave the store feeling great about my purchases.The store for me has been a great experience for many years and I have recommended several of my colleagues to purchase there and they too have been pleased. I encourage photographers both amateur to professionals to shop at pro cam in aurora. Amazing store and an equally amazing Staff.

If you are a Pro or aficionado to photography, this store is the right place to go. With lots of products you can shop comfortably, the shopper’s helpers will guide you through the process of decision making. Since cameras and accessories are one of the best inversion you can do while in this photography side of business. Many camera brands are its showcase here, whether new or used body or lenses, here at Procam, you’ll get tons of really nice deals. Not to mention about flashes, modifiers, lights, stands, etc. This place will satisfy your needs and, pretty much in agreement with your wallet. PROCAM is the best. We are so lucky to have this resource available in Chicago. The customer service and advice is top notch - whether you're an experienced professional or a hobbyist. The staff, especially the manager, Bill, is patient, friendly, and helpful and never pressures a sale. The service goes above and beyond what I'd ever expect. They have top quality products, and their rental offerings are fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and go check them out.

I recently visited ProCam Chicago and was impressed by the knowledgeable staff and the educational events held at the store. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions about the products I was interested in. They also provided me with some great tips on how to improve my photography skills. The educational events held at the store are a great way to learn more about photography and meet other photographers in the area. I highly recommend ProCam Chicago to anyone looking for quality photography equipment and expert advice.

Procam is one of the last of it's kind in the Chicagoland area. I am there once a month since my local photography groups meets there and I always leave with at least an item or two. Bill Skinner is an amazing person and has helped out organization out so much!

Great camera store to find anything you need. Sales associate Kim was very helpful. Found exactly what I needed after seeing the options. Always nice to see it before you buy it and not many stores left for actual cameras.

I love this store. They are super helpful and totally go out of their way to make things happen, even when I drop the ball on a getting things for a project. They go above and beyond for their customers. I will continue to purchase from them b/c of this. Shop local people!
