Couldn't get a broken exhaust bolt out it took them a two hour still didn't get it fixed and cost me $200 and they were lazy and did not know what the heck they were doing so I had him put it back together with the stuff still in the exhaust manifold and it still cost $200 don't raise your money they don't know what they're doing and they don't have no certifications of mechanics

Andrew took care of my 100k maintenance. Dude knows his stuff and kept me in the loop on any issues that popped up. I’m used to working on my own vehicle, but I don’t have the facilities to do so after transferring from Norfolk Naval Base. Andrew definitely made the experience less painful.

They identify the problem, tell you what it is and how much it will cost to fix. Then, they apply any available discounts to your bill. If they tell me the job is $350. The job is $350!I will be returning!

I brought in my car to have the roters replaced maybe a couple weeks ago since I knew that was an issue, but after they were done, my car started to make a strange squeal sound sometimes. I called on a Saturday, and they got me in on Monday, which is fine, but apparently, no one actually put me in the schedule. They still took me this morning with no issue, which is nice, but here is where I am upset. When I went to check out, the guy Eric was nice and let me know about what they did for my breaks. He then asked for $75, which I paid without thinking much about it. On my way home, I realized it was weird that i had to pay since it was something caused by their work. I checked the digital receipt I opted for, and there was an oil change on there! I have 2000 miles left before I needed another one. There is a sticker in my car that shows that, and i am sure that the condition of the oil and filter should have been a hint. I called back, and Eric was very apologetic and said he thought I said I wanted an oil change too. This is when he mentioned i wasn't originally on the schedule. Here's the thing, if they thought I wanted an oil change, why was it not mentioned at the time of check out along with the other items said about my car and what they did? Why is there now no new sticker? Why am I only allowed a credit and not a refund of my money??????

We had an amazing experience at Merlin, in Aurora. Andrew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We expected the repairs to take a few days, but he had it done same day and for much less than we expected.I've been using different auto services in the Chicagoland area all my life (55 years) , and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Had my passenger side window fixed, front breaks and routers, and cleaning in the rear. Owner was there and very nice guy helped me understand everything and before he would say anything he would go check it first, show me then ask me if I wanted to get it fixed. No pushing or upselling at all which made me very comfortable. Also Eric I believe he's the master tech, he does a hell of a job. Def recommend and it will be my go to shop.Services: Carburetor cleaning

This review is long overdue! - These guys have always came through for my fleet of vehicles; as a Business Owner I need my vans to be up and running and not only service, and customer satisfaction is great but the are reliable. I don't have to second guess about what was done and most importantly they give me options. There is no pressure, they are professionals and they ae my consultants! If anyone asks me me where to go and why it's always Merlin's AURORA. Thank you to the entire team. *And yes I just went there today to pickup my vehicle and love HOW smooth it is to drive!**
