This review is based on calling to ask for information and availability. At only 3 minutes from my house, this was my preferred daycare location. I called to ask about infant room availability and was told I needed to schedule a tour first. When I pressed on availability to take on an infant, I was told that the soonest availability was almost a year out and there was a long waitlist. So I asked to be added to the waitlist. Again, considering it's so close to my house, it was ideal. I was told that in order to be added to the waitlist that was nearly a year long wait, I needed to schedule a tour and pay a registration fee and first month's tuition up front. A year out. I understand most daycares have a waitlist and that's fine. But to force a deposit that far in advance is ridiculous. And they seem to push the tour scheduling pretty hard. While I'd prefer to drive my child 3 minutes to daycare, I'll find another a few minutes further from home without pushy and unreasonable deposit demands.

My children have attended here for almost 3 years. I have different ages of kids and I feel like the staff and teacher really care and love the children. The app is very good at keeping you update during the day.

Unfortunately, Some of the staff need their attitudes fixed. It's shocking how openly rude they really are.

Just to be fair, 3 stars for this review is just from a walk through, not from having an attending child. It might be OK if you had no other options.Logistics are good for many people to get to but parking lot is small as is everything else, from the entryway to the hallways and classrooms and there were only a couple of those. They admittedly were understaffed but The teachers were friendly and the children looked happy. Asked about the menu after walking past the open door of a very small, messy kitchen...the food is prepared on site...?...not caterer healthy or organic but will pass, they try. I just didn't get a good "open" feeling. The playground was large but much concrete and was confusingly divided into 3 separate areas for different age children! Why can't they play together? Any Preschool is pricey, but I think for the price, you may want to compare.

my daughter was in Ms. Kris's class(3's) and she loved it. Ms. Kris is so good to the kids. I loved how there were cameras so you can see what the kids were doing throughout the day and Ms. Kris would send pictures on the app that the school uses as well. I highly recommend this La Petite! Val and Amy are the best!

Teacher miss treated my child in the Two’s classroom. I caught it on camera and have screenshot the of the video and the incident. I will be reporting this to the STATE. I’m taking this as far as I can. At this point I feel like my child was mistreated and discriminated. There was no need for my son to be forced to sit in the chair and get pushed while sitting against the table and it was hard enough for the table to move. Also picking up a child from the hard it’s not the proper way to pick up a child. Also when I got there my child hard littlered dots on his left arm where he was pulled by the teacher. The teacher compress with both of her hands while picking him up.I have requested the teachers name and Valeria (director) denied me the information.THIS IS BS!!!

The employees are very nice and respectful they had three Covid testing they had to close three times I had two kids in there but had to take one out because he was a smaller child due to the covid closing. I had to change to a different daycare after that the management was really rude and unprofessional because I took one of my kids out made it hard for me to switch to a different daycare. Made me paid in full until this got resolved which made it hard for me in this pandemic didn’t wanna work with me very disappointed.

The director was completely unprofessional and rude when I found out last minute that they switched their operating hours without letting me know in advance. Not to mention, their hours of operation are incorrect online. It is very misleading and I suggest you take your kids elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My girls have been going there for the better part of 6 and 4 years. The teachers have always been a pleasure to work with. Valerie and Angie have been wonderful to work with and even with a crazy summer schedule, have found a way to accommodate the girls' needs. They truly enjoy going there every day. So happy my girls go there and will be there as long as they are able. :)

We started our enrollment during the start of Covid, which was scary in itself. The staff made me feel completely comfortable and safe leaving my newborn and 3 year old during a pandemic. Valeri, Angie and Amy are absolutely kind and amazing with my kids. We were completely impressed with our teaching staff and the education my son was receiving in preschool.

I had registered my daughter for the fall semester back in may under the understanding that there would be open communication about their operating hours (which apparently is still incorrect online). Two weeks before school starts I was informed, after I called to confirm, that they would not be returning to normal operating hours, leaving me scrambling for care. The sheer unprofessionalism alone with how the situation was handled was unbelievable. We just moved to aurora this summer. We are staring all new with daycare and a new school so we didn’t even know where to begin to search. I will never send my child to this facility even if they did reopen to their original operating hours. I've worked the entire pandemic. My previous daycare never had very minor issues but made sure to stay in close contact with families until there was a resolve. KinderCare is hands down the best option, all the way down to the customer service line.

Incredibly rude over the phone and even corporate lied about operations and operating hours. This daycare just bends the rules to "however they feel like." They do not care about standing by their word all because "nobody wants to work that early" The operating hours on the website show 6am-6pm and they verbally said they would open at 6am if schools were in session, but less than 2 weeks before school starts, their hours changed. This caused stress, lost wages, and a confused child. There are so many other childcare facilities in the area that will go out of their way to help you (Kindercare, Cadence Academy to name a few). I wouldnt trust La Petite to watch the grass grow, let alone a child.

My son has been here since he was eight weeks old. He's two and a half now. Every teacher he's had has been amazing. The rest of the staff is awesome as well. Everyone from the director on down has been so great. My son has always loved going to school. He always comes home with stories to tell and all kinds of art projects. He's gained so many socialization skills here as well. Much more than he would have gotten at home with a nanny or sitter. LaPetite was also the most reasonably priced center we found when we were hunting for daycare providers. We recommend LaPetite to everyone in our area.ETA: My son is five now and I have a second child attending LaPetite now as well. We still love it here just as much.

We have three children and have been at La Petite since our oldest was 3 months old. We have been going to this LPA for 10 years now (my goodness how time flies!) and all 3 children have attended. The management and teachers are phenomenal. From infant care help with sleep/breastfeeding/formula to toddler potty training to pre-school/pre-k learning their letters, numbers and reading, I have had such wonderful experiences with all of my kids. My children have severe food allergies and they have always been very helpful with managing those as well. Each teacher has been attentive and has truly cared for my kids. It's such a hard thing to send your kids to daycare when you have to work- but knowing they are in good hands makes it so much easier. We needed the flexibility of a center that was open nearly every M-F during the year with early and late hours (since our jobs require some long days), and LPA has provided that. I highly recommend LPA to anyone in the Aurora, North Aurora, Batavia, Sugar Grove and Montgomery area.

This place is amazing! As a first time parent I feel so comfortable leaving my baby here. They have Brightwheel that gives you updates on your child throughout the day and teachers posts pictures from time to time. Now, they have added WatchMeGrow and I can check in whenever on my child. Most importantly, the teachers are beyond wonderful! They are so nice to the kids and look like they really enjoy being there. We couldn’t have picked a better school!
