I was somewhat disappointed with the service I received this past weekend. First I had a set appointment. The stylist was 30 minutes lates. Professionalism would dictate notifying your next appointment that you were running behind. The receptionist could have notified me. Then the stylist didn't tell me ahead of time that she changed a $20 fee to detangle. Had I known ahead of time I would have done it. Then after a close inspection of my hair when I got home, a trim of between 2-3 inches ended up being a complete hack. My once back length hair is now shoulder length. I didn't ask for that. She also kept pushing other services. I didn't want any more of my hair cut off. I disappointed and will not use that stylist again. While I did tip the stylist, it was a mistake.

The stylist Lameron ? Or however you spell it was actually unprofessional and rude. She changed my appointment type without me knowing. She was going to perform a silk press without giving me the option. She proceeded to say to do my hair was double due to the texture. The other jcpenny salon in Montgomery did it for the price listed which was 40. Very shady

I had two appointments and the stylist was late, they wanted me to go with another person. Also I made appointment for treatment and haircut, they told me its for blow dry.It was totally inconvenient and tried to blame me instead.

A style and cut by JCP SALON is a wonderful experience, Stacy is awesome. As a professional I take care to look my best and she makes it happen. I trust her and always receive complements on how I look.It was an absolute pleasure to have my hair done by someone who is a master and also enjoys what she does!”Thank You!”

The only time I've ever been to this salon I brought my 7 year old daughter. She needed a trim and we were having a girls day. Upon checking in I told the lady what we were looking for, a cut and blow dry. We sat down and waited then a lady came by and brought us back. The haircut went well although the stylist never said a word to us. Overall I was satisfied with my daughters hair. Then apparently, a large family walked in and we were told she couldn't blow dry her hair anymore because her next appointments were there. What?! So why take us at all if you cant service us completely? It was the dead of winter and now you're telling us my daughter has to leave with wet hair? How rude and unprofessional. I probably should have made a huge fit or spoken with the manager but I didnt want to ruin our day so we walked around the mall until her hair dried a bit. I could tell she was a little upset too. It's been a while and still urkes me with how we were treated. We will never be back to this salon.

I have gone to this place for about 3 years, and they have never failed me. I got an ombre, and it looks amazing. The workers are so kind, I got to talk with 3 of them and I was never bored. I highly recommend this place because they do an amazing job and the staff is lovely. ?

Just left here after driving 30 minutes from home. Once I arrived, I found out I wouldn't be able to be serviced due to a price inflation that was not previously discussed.
Yesterday, when I called to set up my appointment I let them know my hair texture and race due to a lot of stylist not knowing how to do my hair and to book the appointment accordingly. I let her know I was looking for the earliest appointment available and she told me the earliest they had would be 3pm. After I describe my race and my hair texture an opening appeared for 11:30am. That's odd? Did someone cancel with in our five minute conversation?
When I arrive to my appointment, I waited to be greeted at the front desk for over five minutes and when someone finally came to the desk and they were very vague and lacked a guinuine greet. Also, apparently my appointment was for 11am?
Another women arrives to say that my appointment was booked incorrectly and that the service would be $30 more than the price I was previously quoted. At that time within ten minutes of being there I was already frustrated and the salon smelled like old sewer water. I decided to cancel and I refused to drive another 30 minutes out of my way to come back.
When booking a appointment, you should always ask what type of hair texture or if unsure, a consultation should be conducted. Their ’sorries’ can’t give me back the hour I wasted (driving to and from). I will never return. What a terrible first experience.

Absolutely hated the layers and had to get them fixed elsewhere. The staff in not friendly— very judgy. And wouldn't it be nice if the receptionist actually knew which service is which
