It's 10:00 p.m. on tax day and I still haven't received my file from this location. I have no idea if my taxes are actually getting filed or not.

Don't go to any H&R block anymore. I've been going to them for 3 years with no issue, but all of a sudden this year they either have teams that don't know what they're doing, accountants quitting leaving everyone behind and then when I try and find an office that doesn't have problems they are asking for very personal information I've never been asked before over the phone. this company is going down the toilet

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Our tax return was handled by Lauri Bland and either she doesn’t have experience filling returns which have multiple W2s or I don’t know what the case was. Other consultants had to redo a lot of what she prepared initially. When they finally “figured” it out, we already had low confidence. We went here based on the reviews but it was a big mistake. We had to sit there for hours for about 3-4 days while they were trying to figure out our return which started to make us anxious and frustrated. One of the state returns is a VA nonresident return which we haven’t received yet. And it is almost $6,000 that we were dependent on for some other expenses. With e-filing, we should’ve gotten our return in 2 weeks but it is still being processed which tells me H&R block has definitely messed something up. Plus, we had to get their “peace of mind” service which is extra money. I had never needed to get one before. Our VA tax return still shows in process which seems unusual since it is mid year already. I already had low confidence when the return was being filed but trusted them one last time. I wish we chose a different consultant or a different location altogether!

Third year using H&R Block 2 of three years worked with Bindhu in Aurora / Naperville, this year at the Naperville 59 office. She is excellent.

They had my tax info for 17 days and couldn’t get my taxes complete. I had to request to have all my tax forms back so I could take them back to bring them to a professional.When I called the receptionist about getting my paperwork back she was incredibly rude to me. Shouldn’t be surprised because when I first dropped off my taxes, 17 days ago, she was screaming at a tax professional in th back right corner the whole time I was there! Screwed up place all around

Called in to inquire about a charge on our company credit card so the employee got the manager. The lady was very insistent on me providing my SSN or EIN number even though I kept saying neither of those would help her as I did not do my taxes here, no one with access to the card would do their taxes here, and my company would not do there taxes here. I simply wanted more information about a charge on the card. She was very short with me, rude, and not in the least bit helpful. Worst customer service experience ever.
