It's unfortunate I won't be shopping at this store anymore , and will be letting my fellow business owners know not to shop here. My friend expressed an unfortunate event that happened , while being in this store. She wasn't greeted then refused help by the stores team lead Vicki because Vicky says she didn't get a hello back. You all should rethink her leadership role.

I do not experience with GFS but I looking for a new produce supplier. It is inconvenient for us to work with Performance food service.

Super helpful employees here, my first time in the store they even offered to speak with vendors to schedule new products for arrival. Couldn't recommend them more

I found what I needed but the cashier literally was wearing a mask only over his chin. I’m a front line health care worker who has seen unbelievable amounts of death in the last 20 months. Let me know when you are following CDC recommendations

Whomever the store manager at this location is thinks it’s okay to degrade, embarrass and disrespect her customers in front of the entire store! As a manager if there was a miscommunication you handle it PROFESSIONALLY not like you’re a snob on the street. To the manager you’ve degraded my Hispanic mother more than ONCE so what really is the issue?

This GFS is your smaller version of Sam's Club. If you own a restaurant or small business, you'll likely appreciate the no nonsense frills of just getting what you need and getting on with your day. I buy stuff for my church because I have a tax-exempt account which I can just use a keytag with. Prices are average, not great "deals" per se, but you can find food, toiletries, restaurant supplies, and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just know that this store is not a giant warehouse. Nice perk of being a paying customer, there's some free coffee you can try by the entrance, exit.

My experience at GFS in Aurora has always been a great one. They always have everything I need. I want to give a big shout out to Stuart who just helped with a school function. He took care of all our needs and was very helpful. I would highly recommend Stuart for all your shopping needs!!

Nice store, especially for bulk items like paper plates, cups and other various food containers. Good prices on the foods they carry too. The staff is friendly and store is always clean.

I think they have outstanding customer service. I actually needed a product from this store that they were out of. The manager personally picked it up for me at another location. Not once , but twice. They basically are known for catering to reastaurants and Comercial food facilities. I have never been disappointed in the quality of their food or product.

Don't let the term "Food Service" mislead you in believing that bargains are to be found here. Gordon is a restaurant supply distributor that wisely decided to tap into the warehouse style consumer market. Gordon understands that this is an impulse buyers paradise. You will fill your cart with Paper, Plastic, Cans and Bottles to the point of insanity until they literally overflow like molten lava on to the floor. Then you realize you are not paying the price of "Wholesale", your paying the price of "Convenience". But the joke is actual on Gordon in the end because the "Home Stretch" is the frozen food isle. At this point there is no room in your "small cart" for oversized bags of Jalapeno Poppers, king size packaged Meatballs, an endless choice for Burgers and Fries, cryovac packaged Steaks and some kind of BBQ Pulled Pork option...not to mention Apple Pie for desert.

If you're a party planner like myself, this place is GOLD. GFS literally has every food service item you can think of and in bulk. I'm talkin' disposable plates, cups, trays, platters, tongs, bags - you name it! You can also find plenty of wholesale food, dining supplies, commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies. Whether it's for personal use or business, this place comes in handy! I've been told that if you frequent their store for business purposes you can set up a special business account that I believe gives you rewards and discounts. Something to look into!

I've gone to GFS for both personal and business purposes, and I would definitely recommend this store for either reason, depending on what your needs are. I wouldn't recommend GFS as a substitute for your regular super-market, but as a place where you can find a great variety of options if you are having a party, or need to pack and move large quantities of food. You can find a good selection of packaging materials and bulk-size items, as well as other kitchen supplies you might find useful even if you don't need them for a commercial kitchen. If your planning a large picnic, party, or bbq, you should definitely check this place out to help you with the logistical end of moving, storing, and serving large quantities of food. The staff is usually quite helpful and most of them are very friendly, and they do a good job of keeping the store clean. The prices here aren't the best, but it's relatively convenient, and offers a variety of things you might otherwise have a difficult time finding.
