Great volunteer experience to bring your kids and family, and teach them about hunger around the world, appreciation for food, and learn from the fun of teamwork. This location is smaller than the Schaumburg location. It had a small shop that you can buy gifts for your kid while supporting this organization.

I was looking for a place to do community service and I couldn't find a place, everywhere i called only excepted juveniles then I found FMSC and spoke with Mr Daniel and he was so friendly that I had to go and see what this place was like because he sounded so niceso i went after work and I felt like family I called my boss the next morning and took two weeks of vacation so I can do my hours two weeks of 9am to 9pm the staff made me feel so welcome. I would to thank Stephanie, taliysh, I am sorry for not remembering the rest of the staff names for being so nice with me and all the volunteers that goes there every day to fill the bags and make 30 to 170 boxes each box is filled with 36 bags of rice,soy, vitamins, and mix vegetables in each bag, it's amazing at what those people do there to help people around the world who really needs the help. If any of you who are reading this and you can help please do by giving what you can to help feed my Starving Children. May you be blessed sincerely Mr osvaldo Diaz

I didn't know this organization existed until my daughters school arranged a day to get community service hours. They have the whole process down to a science, so everything for packaging the food runs so smooth. In the just over 2 hours we were there, we packed enough food for 96 kids to have a meal a day for a year. We will definitely be volunteering here more often.

A place that truly is doing good in God's name and kingdom. The Staff instructed everyone well. 40 or so volunteers all working like a well oiled machine. In about 1hr and half we filled enough boxes to fill a Skid. All given an opportunity to pray over the food before it was on the way to places in Africa to feed hungry and in most cases starving kids.

A small group from my office decided to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children. This organization is non profit and relay on donations and volunteers to pack food for children around the world. We checked in and they gave us hairnets. We had to wait for the remainder of the volunteers to arrive. The team members from FMSC went over the safety procedures and how to pack the foods. Everything was well organized and already set up when we started packing the food. It felt amazing that just the small amount of time we dedicated to help this organization to feed children around the world who don't know where their next meal will be. The staff were very friendly and helped us when we weren't sure about something. They also had a small store with hand made products from some of the countries they send the food to.

Our first visit as a family and we all had good vibes at end of day. Friendly staff who made our experience of packing and boxing food for kids so easy and memorable. We are trying to find a weekend slot to go back again.

Wonderful atmosphere in which to work/ donate one's time. It is extremely clean and the staff is so accommodating and positive, all while providing a much needed service to children in need.

This is one of the best organizations with such a great purpose to feed the starving child. The volunteering option is amazing and it feels so connected once you are there for the volunteering service. You guys are doing wonderful job.
