rude manager and her staff, i’ve come many times and have seen her talking to her associates during busy hours and leaving a young man run the store by himself without any help. whoever the store owner is, they need to hire new managers who know how to run a store, not a playground

Dear Express Customer Service,I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your Express clothing store on September 29, 2023, at around 3:00 pm. I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a suit for my upcoming wedding, a significant and memorable event in my life.Upon entering the store, I approached the sales associates to seek assistance and inquire about sizing. To my dismay, I was met with a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. The employees I encountered seemed disinterested and unwilling to provide any guidance. Instead of helping me, they dismissively directed me to "check on the rack" as if it were a self-service store.What was even more disheartening was the attitude displayed by the staff. They not only failed to assist me, but they also exhibited a disrespectful and dismissive demeanor. Despite my politeness and courtesy in asking questions and making requests, I was met with indifference and, at times, outright rudeness.To make matters worse, I observed the employees engaging in inappropriate discussions among themselves while neglecting their duties to assist customers. It was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome as a customer.I must emphasize that I have never experienced such poor service at any retail establishment, let alone an Express store. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with the brand that I had previously regarded positively.I sincerely hope that you will address these issues promptly to ensure that other customers do not have to endure such an unpleasant shopping experience. As a loyal customer, I believe that Express should uphold its reputation for quality and customer service, which was regrettably lacking during my visit.I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to improve the customer service at this particular store. A positive shopping experience is essential for customer loyalty, and I hope that my feedback can contribute to enhancing the overall shopping environment at Express.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

We've visited many different outlet malls. This one seemed to have a better than usual offering of name-brand stores. In the stores we visited, the products were well stocked and displayed. Employees were friendly and greeted us upon entering each store. On the map it looked like this one was all indoors, but it was an outdoor walking mall. Given the heat index of 110 degrees on the day we visited, it was probably less enjoyable than during nicer weather. Portions of the outdoor walking area are covered which helped create some shade and would help limit snowfall on the walkway in the winter. If it is raining, you'll still want an umbrella for the many areas that do not have overhead covering. The parking area is in the perimeter of the shopping area, so be prepared to walk quite a bit. It took us about 2.5 hours to see only a few stores. It seems similar to the size of a zoo or amusement park spread out over what seemed like a large area.

Staff doesn't know how to speak to guests. I will never shop here again and I would advice others to do the same. I had a cart full of clothes and because of the staff's attitude I walked out. With the way they are handling things it won't be long before they close down. Upon checking it was the manager who was very rude and her name is ilandes or something of that sort.

I’m leaving a review here because I can’t at my local store you shut down. You closed Bradley, Illinois and it’s the only place anyone shopped. The staff worked there forever and always helpful. Now you’re forced to drive to other locations, pay higher taxes and the experience isn’t the same. For the first time ever, I bought a button up shirt from Kohls because it’s close. I am not the only disappointed. Express, you really screwed up. I hope the staff that was there is taken care of. Rant over. Bring Express back. Thanks for listening.

Every time I come in I am never greeted. It’s to the point where I will ask myself if today is the day and I just laugh when it doesn’t happen. There was also a female staff member who rolled her eyes at me and gave me attitude when I asked if I’d be able to try another size for a shirt (I was in the fitting room). The store is always a mess on top of it.This is also a factory store, so you’re already receiving a downgrade in quality off the bat.Mainline Express is a great brand - one of my favorites - and usually the service is great. This one, however, is an exception, and needs a major overhaul bad!
